Home Depot Special Buy of the Day (02/12/2024) has the Milwaukee FUEL Track Saw and Jig Saw at $379.

I would personally break that down to $279 for the track saw and $100 for the jig saw, both of which are great prices, IMO. I don't think I've seen the bare tool track saw that low before.

If you just want the track saw and the jig saw is not worth even $60 to you, you can get the track saw alone for $319.20 right now from Factory Authorized Outlet's eBay store.

If you go for this deal and want to get Milwaukee guide rails, they haven't gone on sale often up to this point and so the ToolNut 15% off until tomorrow (02/13/2024) [toolnut.com] could be a good way to go.

Personally, I use Powertec guides rails with this saw. They work great and are about half the price--you can get two 55" rails and connectors for $110 [amazon.com], or with a bag included [amazon.com] for about $25 more.

It's terrible. You say price is firm and pick up at a specified location and they lowball and ask you to drive to them

Just too many cheap beggars on there now. I'm tempted by this deal but really don't want to deal with the clowns on fb

Are there ever good deals on Milwaukee batteires/chargers? I really want this track saw but I currently have ryobi stuff so would need another battery system. At current prices I am tempted to just get a corded festool instead since it comes with the case and tracks for less than I can get a whole workable set from Milwaukee.

Just be weary of counterfeits. I trust Factory Authorized Outlet on the eBay deal, and JB Tools as an Amazon dealer, but be careful to check who the vendor is.

The sales and deals on Milwaukee batteries, tools and tool sets has been bonkers the last two months or so, just crazy great deals. I'm already in Makita and very happy and that's great for my wallet because I'd probably have several thousand dollars worth of (new) Milwaukee tools and batteries if I was already on that platform or was looking to switch. 😅😇

Excuse me, I'm down on my luck and lost my job. I need to fix something in my house so my kids aren't freezing. Can you give me this tool for free? Lol

the market dictates the price, not you. that used tool is not worth $100, $75 at best

Thanks to both of you! Yeah, I have seen individual batteries from stores that seem too risky for me, and tool sets that cost more than I want to spend to get this track saw, but no battery/charger deal :-) Home Depot had a deal of the day for the track saw with battery/charger for $419 the other day, I should have just got that and bought the powertec rails you suggested later. I'll just try to keep my eyes open. However, my ryobi jig saw is that really poorly reviewed one so this particular combo is still kinda tempting....

The market of beggars? Lol. When people are asking to pay $50 less than a price that's posted as firm, for a new in box item...that has nothing to do with "the market" that you've thought up and everything to do with that person's inability to read and/or choice to beg for a discount.

And this deal seems good (battery and charger with free tool for $200) if I actually wanted any of the free tools, again, I guess I could replace a lower quality ryobi oscillating tool or random orbit sander... https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../205794132

"Why not both?" 😉

Seriously though, it is nice to be on both Makita 18V & Milwaukee M12/M18 platforms because sometimes deals come up on one or the other, and both MFRs are generally comparable in terms of quality & fit/finish. Milwaukee's definitely my 'main'... but my Makita 36V chainsaw & track saw are no joke.
