The RAM and SSD capacity are somewhat of an insult at the MSRP.

They really couldn't spring for 32GB and 1TB?

I've had two over the past decade. Both are still going. Previous models of this same line. No issues.

YMMV but people love to complain.

Good price and reliable from my experience.

Edit: If anything, Dell improved Alienware; making it more affordable. And Dell is a company that has almost always used solid parts. Especially compared to other pre-built "gaming" companies.

Do not bother with Alienware, you will regret it. Everything is proprietary and low quality. This one also looks really stupid. They tack on a bunch of bulky plastic that serves no purpose just to give it that look.

Best 4070ti deal I have seen. Prob due to the super version being recently released.

R16 is a better build over the R15 for cooling from what I remember reading. I'll buy one later this year if they have the 4070 Ti Super.

That won't be $1500 though...

i recall newegg had 4070ti for $750 so the rest of the machine is $750 which I think is a bit on the high side. Another $150 off would be reasonable. Usually combining Amex offer with high CB from various sites is a good time to get directly from Dell.

Yup every review I have watched on YT trashes these prebuilt alienware systems.

I know nothing about gaming PCs but those reviews convinced me to not purchase as I was going to pull the trigger on this.

Don't buy this robot vajita. They are hot boxes with zero airflow and will cook your parts. Alternatives:
1. Build your own PC. It is easy and you'll get better parts with much longer warranties.
2. Buy from a System Integrator that lets you customize everything.
3. Get a Lenovo Legion.

I think with dell 10% off and Amex 120 CB and chase 5% cash back and using. Cash back site… the price goes down to 1180 or less… this is awesome deal.

I'm old enough to remember when Alienware was the gold standard for prebuilt gaming machines. Sad that Dell took them over and basically killed the brand.
