Is it a solid rule these should be viewed as 3.7V? Both the Anker site and Amazon site (copies Anker's) says it is 99.54Wh (TSA approved) which would imply 3.6V used in the calculation. I don't understand how voltage is determined, but a Google search suggests that at least some power banks are treated as 3.6V so therefore this one can/may be too? Is there any way or evidence to show TSA of that if they believe otherwise?
You are correct. The 27,650mAh version is 3.6v. Its predetermined by the type of battery cell they use to make the power bank. There is no rule but 3.7v is the most commonly used.

All the data including Watt/hour is on the bottom of the power bank. All power banks are suppose to be properly label so TSA can take a quick look. But technically I guess you can fake it... Some places like Chinese airlines are very strict. No label on a powerbank = throw away.

Interesting, I didn't realize it varied. I thought LFP was 3.6v and NMC was 3.65v, a quick google proves you right. I wonder if it is more to do with the quality of the cells, with higher quality being 3.7v

I ended up buying this a couple weeks ago and it has really exceeded my expectations. Charges the hell out of my phones and MacBook Air. The output is easy to monitor and overall easy to use.

Just make sure there isn't a little green dot in the upper left corner. That will slowly drain the battery since it's on trickle charge mode. I had to Google how to get it off since the instructions are so vague.

I want to love this thing, BUT beware...

I'm about to send my 2nd one back for the same reason that I exchanged the 1st one. IDK if it's a design flaw, but what are the odds that I received two duds in a row?

The problem is that it loses a lot of power while it sits. After being fully charged, it shows that it has only 61% charge remaining after sitting for less than two weeks. And yes, this is with it fully OFF. They were not in "low power" charging mode, and no cables were attached to potentially trigger it. So there's no reason for it (them) to dissipate energy like that.
QUESTION: Has anyone else had this same type of experience with it?

Also, if you use a current metering device between the wall charger and the Anker, current continues to flow into the Anker even after the Anker's meter shows 100% charge. So there's some inaccuracy there too.

Other than that, it has a lot going for it. Super fast charging when using a high-output charger. (Although that will wear on the batteries more than if you charge it more slowly.) Great compatibility with a wide variety of equipment. I'd love to keep it, but I need something that will be available in an emergency (after sitting unused) and this ain't it!
I have not. Had it for around a year. No issues holding a charge for extended periods.

That's only with airline approval which is a hassle. I would rather stick with under 100 wh and not be held up by TSA.
In romoss 30k mah battery thread a lot of people mentioned getting through tsa just fine with it and the things the size of a small country I'd imagine you'd be fine with this

Double click the button. It should turn off the green light and disable the mode in 2-5 minutes.
