I have this blanket and one of the 10'x10' ones from Big Blanket co that cost $150. The material is very different and the $150 blanket just feels more premium. It isn't any warmer though nor any more comfortable. Not worth the premium, so if you're just looking for a big ass blanket for movie nights, get this. I bought 4 for gifts down the road. People love these things so much.
Ah yes the 0rgy blanket

Do you have the stretch or the Sherpa? I have the stretch. I have no doubt there's a quality difference...as I said, the Big Blanket Co one feels more premium. I don't think it feels any warmer but I'm not testing these in anything other than climate controlled rooms.

The Big Blanket Co also has about 10sq ft more material. Out of nothing but curiosity, I weighed them both. The Big Blanket Co weighs 148oz at 100sq ft. The Costco blanket weighs 128oz at 90sq ft. So, the weight difference of the material is pretty negligible at 1.48oz/sq ft vs 1.42oz/sq ft.

Yes, the $150 blanket is stretchy, heavier, feels more premium, and its footprint is also a lot smaller.

I'd still take these for $10 over a Big Blanket Co one even if it were half off, maybe with the exception of special holiday prints.
Thanks & Repped! for doing the cost/weight comparison

High Five This is the first thought I had when I saw this thread and ultimately purchased them.

Not to be that guy but (totally being that guy, I know): polyester blankets don't last and generate tons of microplastics when washed. It's cheap, but the cost is all of us ending up with even more plastic in our bodies. Even newborns have plastic in their system. Please consider buying something with natural fibers instead.

I bought these. My kids loved them. Great price at $17, even more of a steal at $10! I am buying more for gifts. They have been fighting over them. So soft. So large! Perfect for the couch!

I was just able to order a blue one (the only color showing in stock) so maybe it really depends on location?

How thick is this? How do people launder a blanket of this girth?
I think the real question should be "How heavy is this". We got gifted some huge ass blankey. Might be 10x10, but it weighs about as much as a load of 6-8 bath towels. I'd be weary if using an oldschool top-load washer. Front load should be fine as long as you don't have a small washer (around 3.5 cu ft) and use the right wash cycle.
