I don't trust Amazon to have fresh stock on Augason Farms products after getting burned on purchase this last November. I bought the Cheese Blend Powder & on this particular can it said, "shelf life up to 10 years". When it arrived expiration date stamped on can was 5.5 years from now.
We are in the slow-burn apocalypse. The Corporations will suck every dollar and bit of joy out of you until you die.
I wish some kind of apocalypse could hurry up.

For those looking for actual long term survival solutions, for the same price you can get no. 10 cans of white rice that take up the same amount of shelf space and have 4 times as many calories. If you're just looking for a bit of variety and have unlimited space, go for this. But, for space, shelf life and bang for your buck, white rice is the way to go.
Why white and not brown rice?

Brown rice is a whole grain and has a much shorter shelf life. Like a year as opposed to 30 years under ideal conditions.

These are meant to be stored for emergencies. Like when you can't buy a potato at the store because of a long term blackout from an EMP attack or alien invasion or whatever
Maybe this stuff IS the Alien's weapon of attack....use your brain... Be ready, Just keep a potato in your pocket. LOL

I do not think farming will bring me any joy. Well, a self sustaining homestead might bring some but seems like a lot of work.
