Bought multiple sets of these when they went on clearance for $1, but that was years ago. They aren't worth MSRP, not comfortable in the hand.

I doubt it maybe in the past now everyone is moving on to metric it's so much easier than confusing fractions.

It's too bad that the handy case can't be split in two. I'm a landlord and when I go fix stuff at one of my properties, I would never use the metric half. At home, I would often use both.

I have this exact set I got for about this price many years ago. SAE for the house and metric for the cars. I use both sides. The stubby wrenches are very helpful for tight fits

dayum 9 years ago. Interestingly I've ony used one of the wrenches - a stubby SAE to fix an old washing machine

Just buy Knipex wrench pliers one tool for all your SAE at home forever.

I once offered to help fix the AC at a bicycle shop and all they had was useless (for that purpose) metric tools and a Knipex pliers wrench. Using that thing was very awkward to darn near impossible in the space available.

For places where there's plenty of space to use that tool, it's awesome, but not a replacement for a good set of wrenches.

These wrenches are not very good. For $15 these might be a useful back up when I lose my Wright, Proto, Milwaukee, Olsa and gear wrenches.... 😂
