These are way too small to be a meal for an adult cat. I guess these are some kind of "topper" —which I have seen advertised but I have never understood why anyone would use them.

The cats love them as a treat. We also have a 15 year old dog that is hard to feed and they help simulate his appetite as a topper.

Love these because my male cat doesn't drink enough water. Give him 1 a day keeps him from having urinary blockage

Why do people eat snacks when they offer no nutritional value? Because it adds to their enjoyment. Toppers are meant to be the same for cats. You use them as a treat for cats to make their lives more enjoyable.

Same with mine. Another trick you can do is pour a bit of water on top of the dry food.
