I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

I have the 2022 variant but it should be similar for the 2023 version

1. Root via Magisk
2. Install Shizuku (rooted app)
3. Install Canta (app that runs under Shizuku)

Canta will allow you to uninstall system apps.

EDIT: Actually Shizuku doesn't require root so you can skip step 1.
You dont need anything outside of adb to debloat. Just put the name of the app youre trying to get rid of instead of "packagename"

adb shell
pm list packages -f "packagename"
pm uninstall --user 0 "packagename"

Bought one almost 6 months ago. Should unlock next month. Ended up with 2 due to a Metro mistake. Had to dispute with my credit card so ended up with 2 for $40. Short version of the story is they charged me for a phone even though the transaction failed with the error others are getting. I immediately used a private browser and successfully placed an order for 1 phone. After I called them explaining what happened, they still sent 2 phones. What a CF that was!

How well do the side mounted fingerprint sensors work on these phones? I have a rear mounted sensor now that works good. The necessary skinniness of a side mounted sensor makes me wonder if that style would get a good fingerprint reading.

For what it's worth it also has an option to use 1.5gb Ram Boost to bring it up to 7.5gb.
It does more harm than good. Wears out the system storage faster and its slower than actual ram, better to leave it off.

That is for the regular Moto G Stylus (2023).

Despite the very confusingly close names - The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) is a MUCH better phone with higher specs and a $150 higher MSRP

i may be in minority, buy i like the a15 slightly better than mgs2023.

Anyone tried the eBay code unlockers for Metro Moto phones?

I found this one said works for all carriers for $5.

at eBay under...
"UNLOCK CODE for Motorola Moto G5 G6 G7 G9/e32/g20 g30 g32 g50 g53 g62/Edge 30 40"

The previous thread said to not turn on auto pay and it'll auto cancel if you don't pay. Is there any reason not to just cancel on your own?

See my OP (now hidden under the drop down since admins decided to promote this with their own top post wording).

I linked to benchmarks that prove the Moto is a way faster phone than the A15. Some complain about the flicker on the OLED display from Samsung due to PWM; others say it's not an issue. This one is 120Hz refresh the OLED is 90Hz if that matters

Both are similar models but the Samsung also has less memory (4GB vs. 6) which some have complained about getting more than a couple newer bloated apps running at the same time.
all good points.
i have too look carefully at ur benchmarks, but..
however, i prefer the a15.
--smaller
--has ram boost (may or may not help) which i couldnt find on the moto
--longer support
--better resale value , once the time comes

Does this work on T-Mobile before the 180 days ? Personal experience would be great if someone can try.

By default, autopay is disabled. You can verify it when you open your account, then just leave it.
