I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

Is there a way to order multiple lines at once? Or is it only 1 per order?
I tried add 2 phones. The first is free, the 2nd is full price. So looks like the discount might be limit to 1 per order.

Ugh...disgusting. I thought I might be able to get their multi-line discount as well. Was planning on opening 4 lines for $100 and getting 4 phones.

Tried to place an order online, was asked to verify my identity and then took me to a page that said they hit a snag and refresh. Refreshing took me back to the main page. Now I'm not sure if they charged me for the phone without putting in an order. What an absolute dogwater website.

You don't have to do anything. The plan is prepaid so once the time is up, the service ends.

You ordered all 17 online with no issues? The website never asked you to call in or visit a store? How did you do it? I tried several different payment methods but every time the website said I can't complete the order online due to security issues and I had to call in or visit a store. I've had two lines with Metro in the past but stopped using their service a few months ago.

I started in 2017. The phones used to unlock in 90 days. The first 12 were bought at a good corporate store which is now closed. I don't know why some people succeed in getting multiple online orders while others don't .

When that pops up for me, the continue button can be pressed.
Metro site is janky so you may have hit a bug or some ad blocker/filter you have is causing conflicts.

Question in regards to this info. in the wiki:
5. During first 30 days, make sure you activate phone properly, make a call every 5-10 days (just as a example).

if u choose to keep phone sealed, u assume the risk of phone not getting unlocked.
as u never made a call, and the phone may never have fully been activated.

a. It is possible that those folks who did not get their unlock in 180 days, never fully activated their phone.
b. phone will auto activate ~ 21 days from shipping . so you cannot buy now and expect to use in 2+ months from now for the first 1 month that is included.

Does anyone know if the phone is still sealed, and it auto activates after 21 days, would the phone be eligible to be unlocked 180 days after the auto activate date?

Sorry if it's already been answered. I've tried a search for keywords but couldn't find an answer. Thanks in advance to anyone who might know. Cheers

May depend on state tax practice. In my state, GA, tax only on the out of pocket cost. In effect, 0 tax in this case.

When I bought last Aug, it was actually $20 for the phone + $40 service. So I paid tax on $20. $1.78 tax.

Now, if you go to their stores, anywhere, they will charge what they want, lol.

Phone is sealed and separate from the SIM card(although both are included in the same shipping box).

Don't know about auto activation, or the implications of not inserting SIM card in phone.

Thanks for the reply. I received the sealed phone and separate SIM today.
Trying to decide what my next move is.
Wiki seems to mention both scenarios but not what the combination of the two equals...
Between this deal and the current deals Spectrum is running, I'm trying to juggle several of these SDs at once.
Thanks again
I'll keep checking around...
