I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

Apparently, the plan does NOT Include free hotspot. Tried to circumvent the issue with TTL editing but failed. That was not mentioned in the OP.
How/where did you do TTL editing? on the phone , or upstream ?

I read elsehwere that some Moto phones come with Google dialer and enable things like call screening which are Pixel exclusive features. This was very surprising. I asked about this on their reddit and was told this by official Moto rep -

"As for the Moto G Stylus 5G 2023, it does come equipped with the Google Dialer/Phone app, enabling you to access Google's call screening functionality."

Can those who have this phone check if it does? here is how you can check in Phone settings - https://support.google.com/phonea...8387?hl=en

It would be great if new users, as well as those who have their phones for 6mo and unlocked and switched to another carrier, could verify this. I believe if true this is a huge pro for this phone.

It is not about tech savvy (granted, I know how to flash phones and much more).

In my case, Samsung offers better features like Knox, Samsung Pay, Samsung Calendar, and the Email application (I can't find better alternates that suit my needs). I do have a Pixel 6a (again, a great little phone) and an S23FE. I have used the S8 for a long time (past his prime by many), but Moto is bulky and doesn't add much value for my use case.

So Moto is not adding anything valuable; granted, it is $40 only, but again, I don't want to be blocked by my metro for buying too many phones when I really want something I am going to use in the future (I don't want to be in the buying and selling cycle).

A54 is working great at the moment (bought from metro for $50 more).
did you use Bixby routines? That looks like a useful feature.

The only thing I'd want from Moto is more support, just 1 update is pretty bad. Saw some reviews and the phone looks great with nearly stock Android which is good for most people. I''ve never used Samsung Pay but do use Google Pay and trust it.

Bought for no reason other than too good to pass up. Also, was able to get the A15 and Moto 5g 2023. All purchased separately but I did have to use different emails and try more than once on the last two purchases. I also used my neighbor's WiFi on the last purchase. Not sure if Metro tracks/limits these purchases or not. Either way I now have three phones that I don't need but can play with and test the android and Tmobile world a bit (AT&T iPhone guy normally).

I'll end up giving them away or selling them once I've had my fun. So far the A15 has been really fun especially considering that it's at the lower end of the mobile phone market.

Just activated e-SIM as a test. Tello Mobile.

Made a call. Received a call. Ran Ookla Speedtest. 588d/32u

Then added my Cricket SIM card, so operating in dual SIM.

Typing this post and posting via Tello Data. The speed test used 900mb of data, so that just about uses the 1 GB data allotment of the plan I purchased.

Plan: 100 min voice, unlimited text, 1 GB data. $6 + tax. Total of $7.56 for me with $3 coming back from a rebate site.

If anyone else tries this and gets stuck, follow the Tello sites instruction for Pixel e-SIM activation. Easy.

Again, I purchased this Stylus 2023 5G last August. It unlocked Feb 12.

Just setting up my two phones today. The default dialer on the phone doesn't have call screening. In in the Play store, the Google Phone app had an "enable" option which I did that installed it and I set it as the default dialer. Its settings options does have a "Caller ID & spam" setting but I can't find call screening options anywhere.

Mine hasn't been shipped yet.
The day I ordered it Metro dinged my credit card but I checked my credit card and it was not charged.
I have not heard anything from Metro since the day I ordered it when I received an order confirmation for it.
I checked Metro this morning and on the page it says that my order is delayed.
No explanation why it's delayed and it didn't say it was canceled.

I'm waiting for the one I ordered last time to unlock March 6th.
I paid with PayPal for that one.

I'm thinking that they will cancel my order for this one eventually.
I paid yesterday afternoon then received an email that they have shipped at night the same day for me

How to order more than 1? Looks like they flag something that you can't do that.

better to get power instead...

I have both, I prefer the moto over A15. A15 screen is nice, but A15 feels sluggish at times even with minimal apps open.

Add poor update policy to this list. Which is the main reason why I'm not continuing to buy their phones. I like them but the lack of updates is really a big turn-off for me.
I partially agree, but since they are only $40, I got the 2023, which will replace my 2022 in 6 months, which is a very cheap way to upgrade. Cheaper than buying a more expensive phone just to get more software updates. And then later, I can probably get the 2024 for $40 as the next cheap upgrade, while I use my 2023.

I tried that, but it always gave me instructions to visit the store or call at the end of order process.
