*Remember:
Visible+ for the First 50 Gigs of Priority Data is QCI 8, After it drops to throttled QCI 9 Priority on 5G Nationwide/4G LTE. 5G Ultra Wideband(C-Band + mmWave) is always fast due to having enough bandwidth to support more phones.
Visible Basic is QCI 9 Priority 100% of the Time.
Verizon priority QCI levels(Higher QCI level = Higher Priority data):
QCI 7: Verizon Frontline workers
QCI 8: Verizon Business, Verizon Postpaid, Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Plus, Xfinity Mobile, Visible+ for the first 50 Gig's, US Mobile Warp 5G Unlimited Premium plan.
QCI 9: Visible Basic, Verizon Home Internet, Straight Talk, Tracfone, Verizon Prepaid Unlimited basic.
*Note this list is incomplete but is pretty much what is known as of 2024 on the Priority levals of plans on the Verizon network.

I have not noticed any changes in speed with this. I have a Pixel 8, so it should not be a phone issue. I'm leaving in a few days for Boost Mobile. Prepaid a year for $150 (plus $40 for a phone).
The big draw is the 50GB priority data. Depending where you are, deprioritization on visible can be ROUGH. With Visible + you genuinely get a top tier Verizon plan for an excellent price. So if you are in an area with acceptable Verizon coverage, it's hard to beat the value of this plan.
Same thing with broadband at home. Our family works from home x2 during the day Zoom and team calls, decent sized file downloads, ps5, Xbox series x, gaming pcs, switches x2, two kids who live on devices, about 40 iot devices cameras, Nas devices x2 etc..
Outside of just taking longer for new game downloads (which preloading, and auto updates are a thing to offset) we never have needed more than 100mbps combined...
I just got the $40 Moto 5g deal with Metry by T-mobile and the customer service has not been good at all. I have had issues during the purchasing process with a customer verification that made no sense and made me fail it twice (still got two pending $40 on my CC). The chat I had with them with issues regarding not receiving texts from them (although everything works) and not having a hot spot was solved after a long time chatting with them and them ignoring my specific question (maybe that was AI, now that i think of it). They don't have an online chat (used their facebook chat instead).
Of course, YMMV, but Visible has been very good for me.
I been on visible 2022 and 2023, first was the premium plan, now is the cheaper one
2022 it was so fast I was saying do I really need the premium one
so 2023 when I ported back to visible I went with the cheaper one. I'd say majority of the time I don't feel any difference, and even the cheapest plan I have UW band shows up on my Fold 4, I think every once a while it may be a bit slower(not priority data) but it's very hard to notice.
When I moved back there was no deals so I went with the $25 instead of $45 plan and haven't regret it once.
Unless you are on a tower that is over saturated, the service is identical. For me, regular visible is completely useless when I'm at the park when it's crowded or at my gym when it's crowded. The deprioritization can be very bad on visible.
If you're never getting deprioritized, then you have no need to upgrade because the service is basically identical otherwise.

USM deprioritization was killing me.

I do like how they didn't immediately reset my month and charge me right away. Classy.
