The only knock on RIDGID is that the mechanism used to stack the box will eventually wear out with use. RIDGID should have made these user replaceable.

I just bought a set of their first gen and one of the top boxes has a messed up locking mechanism that is too tight to be able to lock by hand. Only way to unlock is to unlock the normal side and then wiggle out the other side. I use a mallet to lock the side where the lock bar is too tight. Got the set for a cheap price though but wish the rolling box was the gen 2 version.
I went to check this out in store, but ultimately bought the Husky build-out set that was right next to these. Was really tempted but having more space was more important than having drawers for me. Its really good looking and functional so for some the Dewalt will
be the bomb.

I don't know if that is realistic. It would take way more cycles than just about anyone would put on them. Also, they are under moderate vertical spring tension, so if you pull up slightly before swinging in or out (vs. just cranking it over the lip) you can avoid almost all wear on them.

That's the real power of the Home Depot
Seems store dependent. Was 149 at first but then most stores are now 169 but then a couple are 149. At least in my area
