Regretfully, no Google store in Austin, so instead took them nearly a week and a half to approve an RMA and issue a return label. Told me that I MUST return the bands and charge cable too, which I thought was weird, but figured they'd just be sending a whole new watch in retail box. Nope. Sent me a tiny little box with just the watch. No straps, no charger.
Contacted Google letting them know they need to return or replace the missing items, of course. Took them over a week to get back to me, asked for me to again provide my address, then another week to hear back from them and again asked me to confirm my address. Then they sent the charge cable. Only the charge cable.
Contacted them again asking where the bands were, and this time only took three days for them to approve the replacement band. At least they shipped it overnight, I guess.
Since it was just a watch I didn't get too bent out of shape and was definitely too passive when it came to all their issues, but if it was my phone, also Google made, I'd be unhinged after a couple of days. Not because I need my phone because it's my precious attention preoccupier, but I need it for work.
I couldn't believe how pathetic Google's post-purchase support was for their physical products. It felt like I was dealing with a Kickstarter that had three employees.
I've always been touch and go with Apple and used to give shit to people that were fully bought in to their ecosystem, but with age and less and less time for bullshit, I get it.
I made an appt at the Apple store and they the diagnosed the phone for free and found out there was some impacted lint. They got the lint out and gave the status on battery health all there right in the store. Very impressive. They probably lost a little money on labor costs, but they scored some points in reputation.
I have had trouble with Apple in the past, though. They are not perfect and their first tier online / phone support can be a bit weak until you get triaged up. Mylast problem was that I bought a phone with Applecare and returned it. I had to contact online support to cancel Applecare. It didn't get done and I foudn out 3 months later that they were charging me. The refused to give me my money back, so I had to file a credit card dispute.
They jerked me aroudn 30 years ago with my first Mac then wre reluctant to give me a new laptop after our iBook failed 5 times.

i am not a fan of pixel watch 1 coz the battery life sucks.
but the pixel watch 2 is about 10times better then any watch out there . the AI is insane and the realtime data insights is what is so amazing.
I have lost 25lbs since i got the pixel watch 2 coz u can use the realtime data insights to totally manipulate ur metabolism and have the most perfect body. it wont happen overnight but it happens really fast i plan on losing 60lbs

So I got an Apple Watch that doesn't work with my Android phone so it's now a glorified watch. lol
using the ai and realtime data insights i have already lost 25lbs i only came out in oct and first i didnt know to use it.
i am already fitting into clothes from 10yrs back and there weight loss isnt slowing down right now atleast.
i instead to lose 60lbs total i am already 32w and the fat stores in my body r just getting destroyed.
maybe i am using it the wrong way. its simply better then magic and more ai is dropping
I'm opposite. Couldn't stand the Galaxy Watch. Humongous and gets in the way. I don't like the Pixel Watch design either though.

Expecting a functional watch for this price point with O2 and heart rate, etc... does not exist really so dive in on the pixel watch.
