For people looking for meat snacks biltong is great and has no sugar like beef jerky tends to. Also Kobe beef sticks on Amazon

Any slick recommendations?

I've just recently noticed zero sugar jerky options and tried them. They're decent and work fine if you're looking for portable protein options.

Yeah the vacuum sealer is clutch and the bag opens up perfectly fresh even after months in the freezer.

Have you tried just not using any sweetener? I've always skipped sugar in my batch, occasionally add a spoon of honey but I've found that jerky is great without any sweetness to it. It's gross the amount of sugar that they are adding to the commercial products nowadays.
