I am a big-time fan of Sofirn flashlights, so, whenever I see one of their deals posted, I like to show them some love. Because I like their products - and because their affordable prices, have allowed me to amass about 20 of their flashlights in my collection, over the past few years.

I'm not saying that they are the best flashlights that are available on the market today; but, they are legitimately nice flashlights and they damn sure offer a good value, for what you pay for their flashlights.

By the way, I own this specific model flashlight, the Sofirn SC33, and I would definitely recommend it, especially, at this $34 price, with the included battery.
This one throttles quite heavily once it gets hot. You can check out zeroair's review. I have the SP33S which has a much higher sustained output, but it is also slightly thicker since it uses 26650 battery. I got it on sale for ~$34 with battery last time it was on slickdeals.
I'm going to disagree. I have one of these and 3 different sc31 pro in 3 different colors. I find the tail switch annoying and love the magnetic tail cap on my sc31. This will clip nicely on a visor on a ball cap though (I bought a headlamp for that). If you don't need anduril and prefer a tactical tail switch this is the one for you. Pretty sure I paid less too through a sofirn email.

I have this SC33 flashlight, the SC31T (smaller size and battery) and the SC28, (which can be purchased at Amazon for ~$23 after coupon), all from Sofirn. I love the SC33 for the broad and powerful illumination and the fact that it has an efficient boost driver, but I find myself using the SC28 around the house almost every time. For outdoors, I love the SC33 and the more pocket friendly SC31T.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have a related question that I'm hoping some of you experts can shine some light on (har har).

What would you recommend for a jogging headlamp, that could do double duty for walking my dogs at night? I would probably prefer a cap clip-on, although it would have to be light because I use "tech" caps for running (that both wick sweat and are also easily washable) which are not hard/strong, but not opposed to something that would come with a strap, as long as it would not be too bulky/heavy.

Thank you!

EDIT: I quickly educated myself about headlamps and I picked up an Sofrin HS20 Headlamp with the SFT40 emitter (two versions are offered, this throws farther, which is what the "throw" light should do better from the separate flood light). I was able to use the sale for this order as well! Thanks everyone, looking forward to lots of evening running as soon as the weather is warmer!
Due to your reasons, I also ordered a few of your selected headlamps and got the discount on all the units. I missed the last sale a few months ago and have been watching ever since for it to come back.

Being an owner of multiple Fenix flashlights, I thought I'd give the 5000k and 6500K SC33s a try.
One can never have too many flashlights! Thanks OP!

Nice! Hope we're both happy with them, I read quite a few reviews on the HS20 w/ the SFT40 emitter and I think it'll be just what I'm looking for. Let me know how you like yours once you get it and put it thru its paces!

At this price point, this is the best bang for your buck on the market for a high end flashlight.
Sofirn updated the light and it no longer has the auto lockout that it did when it first came out, That people considered a potential deal-breaker for this light.

I actually just picked one up last month directly from sofirn and I believe I paid $3 more than this and I considered it a fantastic deal!

Is this a good light for use in a tactical invasion of a micro nation? I need something reliable so I can spot guerrillas before they spot me. Thanks.

Got the Sofirn SP33S from Amazon last year for $65 🤦 ♂️... (Now $50) But REALLY REALLY like it. USB C charging is amazing! 1 thing I do miss is magnetic tail cap. I really wish it had that. If anyone knows of any 5000+ lumens Sofirn flashlight with magnetic end, please share link. Zoomable head would be a plus, but magnetic tail is a necessity for me. Thx!!

I have multiple SP33S' and most of my buddies do now as well. If you really want a magnetic end, just buy a thin round Neodymium magnet and epoxy it on the back then spray painted it black. That's what I did for the one I leave in my truck. I really wish it had a 1 LM moonlight instead of the 10 lm though. Even at 10 it seems to last for more than a week, but for an emergency light, being able to last a few months would be awesome.

Bought this and the wurkoss td04. sc33 took me a minute to realize how to "unlock" it and use the UI. However, that turbo mode is something else. They're both great lights and I'm really pleased. I usually just have the free junk given to me or shop lights. These are a nice change of pace.

Mine shipped on 2-19 and the carrier is YANWEN (must spell FedEx in ChineseSmilie. I'd be great if I could find a red filter to put on the lens. Guess I could put some red plastic over the lens provided it was on low light output due to heat.

Got mine today, tried it out walking my dogs in the dark. The HS20 w/ the SFT40 is awesome! For the first half of the walk I used it on medium flood with low spot, and then I dropped the flood to low as well because it was too strong when I would look at my dog. I did try spot on medium and high as well and it's great! I can see myself using med/med and high/med and maybe even high/high when running in the evening during the warmer months.

My hs20 arrived and I'm very satisfied with the product. No more awkward positioning of a standard torch trying to light a work space, or breaking out a shop light for a small task.

Also, the headband is very soft and comfortable.
