I'm not saying that they are the best flashlights that are available on the market today; but, they are legitimately nice flashlights and they damn sure offer a good value, for what you pay for their flashlights.
By the way, I own this specific model flashlight, the Sofirn SC33, and I would definitely recommend it, especially, at this $34 price, with the included battery.

What would you recommend for a jogging headlamp, that could do double duty for walking my dogs at night? I would probably prefer a cap clip-on, although it would have to be light because I use "tech" caps for running (that both wick sweat and are also easily washable) which are not hard/strong, but not opposed to something that would come with a strap, as long as it would not be too bulky/heavy.
Thank you!
EDIT: I quickly educated myself about headlamps and I picked up an Sofrin HS20 Headlamp with the SFT40 emitter (two versions are offered, this throws farther, which is what the "throw" light should do better from the separate flood light). I was able to use the sale for this order as well! Thanks everyone, looking forward to lots of evening running as soon as the weather is warmer!
One can never have too many flashlights! Thanks OP!
Sofirn updated the light and it no longer has the auto lockout that it did when it first came out, That people considered a potential deal-breaker for this light.
I actually just picked one up last month directly from sofirn and I believe I paid $3 more than this and I considered it a fantastic deal!

I have multiple SP33S' and most of my buddies do now as well. If you really want a magnetic end, just buy a thin round Neodymium magnet and epoxy it on the back then spray painted it black. That's what I did for the one I leave in my truck. I really wish it had a 1 LM moonlight instead of the 10 lm though. Even at 10 it seems to last for more than a week, but for an emergency light, being able to last a few months would be awesome.

Also, the headband is very soft and comfortable.
