I use these at work and cannot recommend them. Constant frustration. Slow buffer. Slow to turn on. Slow to focus. Slow to respond to inputs. My shutter button broke and won't half-press. My colleague and I joke about these as lemons.

I would REALLY like to pick this up, but there's one thing you won't see discussed much when comparing this to other cameras: the 4K60 crop.

To shoot 4k60, you basically have to go into APS-C crop mode. So 4k60 for real estate work, for example, requires you to use a crop sensor lens ultra wide like the Sigma 10-18 f2.8. When doing this, you are using a smaller cropped section of the sensor and the grain is larger/more prominent, counteracting a lot of the reason we would want to go full frame in the first place.

In other words, if you need to shoot 4k60, you're basically dealing with a crop sensor camera and not a full frame. For this reason, I have not yet gotten away from Canon for my full frame camera work (coming from a guy who's primary workhorses are a pair of Panasonic GH6's).

This is maybe more of an amazon question. Is this "hackable" like bundle deals from Home Depot? I purchased the camera with the S5IIX/20-60mm lens and the 85mm lens. But it looks like the 85mm lens, being a different item, will let you return it for a $475 refund (even though it was bundled in for "free"). In returns, the camera (w/ 20-60mm kit lens) is listed as $1,823, which is well below the stand-alone price.

If you return part of an amazon bundle like this, is that a way to get an even better price on the camera with kit lens?

Not sure I would, but might consider going for another prime lens (35mm instead of 85mm) if that works.
