Stop wasting your money on stuff you don't need. You are too easily controlled and manipulated by petty marketing. Take control of your life once again and just say no... on this impulse buy and all future impulse buys. There is more to life than material things...
You're also paying for a well established Swiss maker, screw down crown, gmt movement and Sapphire glass. So its really not much at all compared to the Seikos and Citizens of the world that often go for more even. Not to mention quartz can get a lot more expensive when you look at the very high accuracy watches from brands like Bulova and Longines.

Someone talk me out of this. I absolutely don't need but I have a soft spot for GMTs of any kind and that blue dial with the flieger design looks pretty nice for a cheaper travel watch.

I used to say the same thing. Then you realize there are some extremely impressive quartz movements in gorgeous watches. Check out Grand Seiko and the Seiko Astron line, Citizen Campanola or Casio and their Oceanus offerings. Quartz has its place in luxury watches for sure
I read that glycine is not very well respected because its parent company is Invicta. I like the watch and the Swiss made but that fact kinda made me hesitate. Change my mind.
