I think it could be because Patagonia has committed to using non-PFAS fabrics by 2025. That probably means they're going to be clearancing out all remaining PFAS-containing items this year.

Patagonia are one of the few outdoor companies that haven't tanked their quality to save a few bucks in recent years e.g. Northface

This is funny. So don't buy it even though it's good quality outdoor wear because everyone wears them? Come on.

Bad colors. Good ones are way too expensive. I got 2 jackets both looked so ugly compared to their pics on website. Stitch is weird too.
North face everything matched color and stitch exactly to their website

Yes Adidas Primeblue line everything made of recycled plastic I have several items from that, especially their recycled plastic comes from the sea cleanup process so should be double expensive than Patagonia but not. So this crap of recycling doesn't fly.

I've done cost sheets in the textile industry for garments/clothing. Have worked with pattern makers, art teams that separate the colors in the digi art and burn screens, embroidery companies for appliques, you name it.

Love their life time warranty (free repairs). My jacket caught on something and ripped on the sleeve. Brought it back to the store and they sent it out for repair for free.
