One of the best gaming experiences of our time. Combat, music, story. This game is a 10/10. I do seem to remember there being some potential performance issues at launch for PC, but I think they have all been fixed. The developers for Stellar Blade have discussed openly how Nier was a massive inspiration for their game. As excited as I am for Stellar Blade I highly doubt they were able to capture the conceptual and abstract tones of Nier, similar to how devs have been unable to capture the magic of FromSoftware games. I would love to be wrong though. Nier will have you praying for a part 2.

This game is awesome! I would recommend looking up some videos as it is kinda hard to explain. Kinda devil may cry fighting. But there are a ton of different endings and the game shifts the type of gameplay. For example, top down, third person, side scroller. It is alot of fun.

I haven't played it yet, only watched some of it. The only reasons you should be putting off this game are family, work and other important life stuff. Your life will probably be better for it and when you finish it you'll regret not doing this earlier. If you like this artstyle there's a chance you'll like the story. It's either people like this art style or don't.

Someone gave the a good short summary for this game.

Also since this game's art style seems based on Japanese game art design, I have to ask if you watch anime and if there are any other anime that give an experience like nier?

I recall people on Reddit saying Tunnel Bear doesn't work very well as a VPN for Xbox. Next time I suggest using Urban VPN. I never had an issue with them. They're also free.

Can't recommend enough. Got the GOTY edition for the PS4 a few years ago. The game creates some serious atmosphere with the story, environments, and world class musical score. It's like it brings you into their universe. Combat is really good, a little on the forgiving side for the normal encounters, but the increased difficulty of the mini-boss + boss battles felt spot on.

Great game. Best price in a while now.

Best price ever was $10 on xbox store but that was 2 years ago when the game was still available on Game Pass.

After that the best I found it was $20 and I bought it then.
