Sweetwater, Musician's Friend, and Guitar Center have "open box" 5150 Iconics for less, and won't come to you labeled as "used". Thus, you should get the warranty on them(*). With Guitar Center, you can return it to a store, too.
ProAudioStar's "used" label is going to cost you the warranty. Plus, PAS is going to make you pay shipping both ways if you return products for most anything but "won't power on," and they'll sack you for a 10% or so restock fee too. These amps weigh some 65 pounds when boxed for shipping, and the boxes are large. Figure on at least $50 each way for shipping plus $98 for the restock fee if you return it, which comes to about $200.
The Wolfgang Standard might be a decent price, but I don't think those others are strongly discounted at all, especially to label them "used," which will deprive you of warranty. I don't care much about guitar warranties myself, but, if I'm paying something like new prices, I expect to get the warranty.
(*)Warranty service is not unheard of for the 5150 amps. I don't hold it against EVH/Fender, but know it might be needed. I LOVE my 5150 Iconic 40W combo.

I have bought multiple guitars from PAS and they have been awesome. I generally prefer GC as I have made friends with folks over the years. I would however buy new guitars over used ones from either GC or PAS as I am just not sure what I will get into.

Most excellent post. Always vet the sellers you buy from.
This *is* Slick deals. Not PayMore Guitars R Us.
Anything goes; as long as it's a good and honest way to buy for less.
None of this is against EVH or his outstanding family! ...Who morn his passing, as I do. And we all should.

He's 32... played every instrument on the first Mammoth WVH album. Could you have gotten on stage with EVH at 15 and played in front of 80k people?
