I have played a few of the "The Exit" games, and while you have a puzzle where you have to cut up material, it's still mostly playable for another family member at another time, and sometimes the cut material doesn't even make the solution immediately obvious for the next person.

I read some reviews at Board Game Geek that said that nothing is destroyed or altered during the game, so you can easily reset it and give it to someone else or donate it.
