but can a Pi 5 do full GC, N64, Wii, Saturn, etc?
I remember being able to play Wii and PS2 emulators full speed at 4k resolution on my Xbox when I could still run emulators in retail mode

I wonder if people are trying to flip these? They are out of stock nearly everywhere in my major city. Either they didn't stock up prior, or they flew off the shelves. Which seems odd.

They might be clearing old stock, or people grab them for the game pass then resell the console

As the games get more demanding this box is gonna take more compromises. But it's fine if you just play the cartoon online games
What an ignorant comment. This baby will be supported beyond 2028.

Yes that's true. The series S value is literally unbeatable
Yes- hands down a steal! Been playing FC24 (trial), MLB The Show, Forza, Halo Infinite, all on Game Pass. I have no idea what those PS5 folks keep yapping about and I seriously don't want to dedicate the time to even hear it.

Probably $350 with coupons + Giftcards. People tend to forget to mention that when they brag they got for cheaper lol. Or that they got it 6 months ago on holiday.
I got for this for the $310 price in December. Target Circle offer for $349. Plus some had 10% off and $20 off purchase circle offers that stacked.
No gift cards involved.

No it was from Woot refurbished for 310. MS store had it for 350 with a gift card deal. Target had for 350 with a target circle offer.

Nobody here is bragging lol it's frequently at that price one way or another.
Yep, refurb. Nothing wrong with that but yea, point was that things are usually omitted when people say "I got it for "lower"."

Can these be jailbroken and used as any type of decent home theater in a box or media server or is the hardware locked down or too old?
Get something like a Beelink S12 Pro if you want it strictly for media.

I got a series x for $340 right before Black Friday from Target. Had to return to free game for that price though.

Nice, think mine was around $320 from Target with 10% coupon. Could have had Microsoft price match and it would have been cheaper but oh well.

Good deal but boy am I glad I grabbed that $150 Verizon deal maybe 1-2 years back. Haven't even found a use for it lol but at that price I couldn't say no.

Yes but you'll have to pay $20 to activate dev mode. I still miss the time before Microsoft completely banned emulators on retail mode last year.
So freely play any NES, SNES, N64, etc game once you get dev mode and proper software?

Link? "In your imagination" doesn't count. Maybe you're referencing the woot refurb deal that comes in and out of stock.

Oh look, another bot account with a 10 next to their name. Ever notice how they're so aggressive?

P.S. I paid $305 for my nephews Series X
