Just confirmed with iTunes the full show is HD but you get the combined HD episodes and the SD episode is still available to purchase. So for the Guru/Crossroads of Destiny you get the 40 min HD combined episodes but the SD 20 min Crossroads of Destiny episode is still available to purchase. It's quite confusing but at least you get the full set in HD.

Where is it in spanish? Don't have that option on netflix?
No it doesn't have it, only English language. That's what I mean, since this only offers English audio, the same as Netflix, I don't feel like buying it even when I like the series.
But I'm pretty sure that in a Latam country Netflix does offer Latam audio. It's a shame Nick doesn't port it and other languages audio to US platforms

How can one tell if they are MA compatible?
The "movies" part in Movies Anywhere is something they keep to (so far at least): there's no episodic TV shows in it.

But otherwise if you scroll down on info pages for media on Vudu, it's in the "More Info" section (where it has details like languages, studio, etc) with the MA logo and "movies anywhere" if it's an MA movie (nothing explicit if it's not)

I have Movies Anywhere (MA) linking all my digital retailers. My TV shows on Apple TV, Microsoft, or VUDU only appear on the service where it was originally purchased on.

MA compatible movies do appear on other services.

I've never seen the animated series, but I was not impressed by the live action adaptation. The story and dialogue are fine, but I am completely shocked they couldn't find better actors, mostly the children. All of the adult performances were fine, but it features some of the absolute worst acting chops I've ever seen in a really expensive production. Just think Hayden Christensen in Attack of the Clones.
Completely agree. Was trying to watch with my son and thinking
Good grief the acting is terrible..
I didn't give the adults much better billing than the kids... Just plain bad.

How's the Netflix live action adaptation version?
I appreciate the attention to detail the live action series is taking. It shows that M. Night should have known better than to try to fit all of that story in such a short time period, combined with such a terrible script and terrible casting.

When you've seen the animated series and then watch the live action show, you immediately recognize the characters. I think there are some unrealistic expectations of some viewers to have characters act as animated as their cartoon equivalent, but that's really not possible while maintaining a real-life vibe with actual humans portraying the characters. Is the acting perfect, no, but it's certainly good enough and great in most cases. There is one child actor whose acting I can't stand, but perhaps I need to go back and see if the source material makes the character so painful to watch. Thankfully, it's not a main character, and I believe they're only in one episode.

Down to the dollars and sense of it all. With zero reservations I can say, if the live action episodes were the only videos you received and could watch with your Netflix subscription for a given month and you were able to watch them all over the course of that one month, it easily justifies the cost of your subscription.

So do you own these forever or are you just licensing the ability to watch them for however long Vudu and or the Nick license is valid for/in service? Cause buying digital goods can very easily be taken away with no refund.
I dont think vudu can take away you purchased copy like steam, I think they just stop it from being sold but not 100% sure here

The original is head and shoulders above, no doubt. But Korra was ok until the very end where they decided to shoehorn in The Message.

That word has very little meaning these days. And you can thank people like yourself for that. Maybe if you didn't throw it around so casually because someone has an opinion you don't like, it would still have some force behind it. 🙋 ♂️
