Remember how these used to be FAR like a decade ago?

I still have four cases sitting against my wall, I think I go through a ream a year.

Yeah yeah I know I'm old. Now get off my lawn LMAO
I had an email with an extra $10 off code, so this was $29. Great deal.
When can I get a Dunder Mifflin ream on sale?

Anyone know if there is much of a difference between Hammermill copy paper and Tru Red brand? The Tru Red is showing $33.59 for the same amount of paper (10 reams) because I still have the offer in my account for 40% off on my first AutoRestock order.

https://www.staples.com/tru-red-8...uct_135848
True Red is garbage, especially if you are printing two-sided. The print will bleed onto side two it seems because of low opacity. You can feel the difference holding a piece of Hammermill paper vs. True Red despite the same weight and brightness. Just about all copier and printer repairman said use Hammermill and skip the rest.

Well there is a difference. I print a lot of a presentations on a double sided color laser. I've used the costco stuff - natural choice. Never again for presentations. Fine for general text but there are better papers out there. Went back to the staples and the hammermill 20 pounds cases but bought a ream of 24 and 28 pound paper from hammermill and HP. It feels nicer and the colors pop out more. Worth it for presentations.

While we don't currently have a sale running, it's our customer service that separates us from the competition. Here's my desk, cell, and pager number. I don't take vacation and I'm never sick.

School Secretary here we use the Member's Mark because we print a lot. We used to use Hammermill when the price was better but since COVID and the prices skyrocketed we have changed to Members Mark. I have noticed there is a difference in the paper. The Hammermill is a better quality. For our purposes, the Member's Mark works just fine. We keep a few reams of thicker paper on hand for the occasional concert program or flyer that will be sent out.

$12.75 carrier handling fees, pass. Probably the cheap UPS hand-off to USPS to the final destination.

At first it was CL, but after a doing it a number of times I was familiar with a couple small businesses that loved to gobble paper and I would just contact them every 6 months or so when I had 'too much'.

I probably bought and sold a couple hundred cases over a few years. Staples (and occasionally OD / OM) would have FAR (free after rebate or free after rewards) cases. Usually limit 2 per week and maybe once a month. They also had FAR individual reams sometimes every week (also usually limit 2). So it can add up if you do it every time and don't print a lot. Once at least, before I was aware, they had a no limit offer than some people I understand really filled up on.
I never made a ton of money (~$10 / case? ~40 cases / year?) and it was a pain dealing with 20+ cases of paper that piled up. It just happened to be an easy way to turn store rewards into cash (once the rebate arrived 2+ months later).. In addition to the extra $$, it also made it easier to get Staples Premiere Rewards status ($1000 spend /year), where you could recycle an extra 10 ink cartridges per month and then had more rewards to spend on paper!

Also ended up with a pile of Staples photo paper and misc other FAR office supplies I didn't really need. Finally decided I was never going to use them and got rid of 20+ reams of Staples Pastels colored paper just a few years or so ago for about $5 each.
