QE1C is the same as the Q60C, for those that want to look up reviews. It's just the Samsung store exclusive version. It's a budget TV for Samsung, with relatively dim picture and 60hz refresh rate. Most reviews are reasonably positive about what you're getting for the price, but the biggest complaint I've seen is that some folks get unlucky with significantly cloudy displays.
If you want a big TV with moderate picture, it's a good price. If you want a big tv that has a great picture, you'll have to keep looking and will likely spend substantially more than this price to get what you want

I mean, I have an LG plasma that I do love, just wondering if this particular LCD tech can surpass that picture by now.
1) Samsung TV so already mid tier experience, colors, and movement
2) One of their Lowest end models that should be priced within the $300s in terms of performance & features
3) $200-250 soundbar setup
4) Realistic overall value of set $500-600, deal is not worf
I ended up going with the deal for 70" and will just return if it's disappointing. Our use case isn't particularly demanding so I'm not sure we will notice much difference against anything else in this price and size.
I did have a chat with customer service and just asked if they had any additional promotions. They added another discount to the cart, making it about $827 for the bundle before tax. Also leveraged some cashback that was a bit more than the tax, making it around 800 out the door. Obviously YMMV

I got rid of my perfectly functioning 2010 pioneer plasma, 65 inch last year or two. It had tens of thousands of hours on it. I did get a better tv than this one here. I got the lg, 65 ", b2. As much as some people won't give up their plasma tvs unless they are pried from their cold, dead hands, the lg b2 oled blows plasma tv's out of the water and I have zero regrets throwing away the plasma. I cannot offer any comment about this particular tv.

I have one of the last great Panasonic plasmas, for me the only logical replacement is OLED. LCDs with local dimming would be somewhat ok but they get close to OLED prices and are still washed out off angle.
