This has already been pointed out by numerous others on this thread. I'm sure that some boneheaded person will think it is a good idea to reach out to MLB.TV to verify it. DO NOT CONTACT MLB.TV. Assuming this is an error, contacting them will guarantee that it gets fixed and ruin it for everyone here who got a 2023 subscription.

It's not available until 3/26. You should be able to see the announcment in the T-Life app by scrolling down to and tapping on "What's new" on the Home tab.

It's a bit silly that this thread is front page news a month ahead of the offer's availability.

Okay but the thing though is he already had mlb tv subscription already on the mlb app right? The he deleted the app on the iphone and redownloaded the app again. You say this is similar since the code is linked to the apple account?
FYI… here is the link from the MLB website about how to "restore purchase" on an iPhone if that step needs to be done prior to the "Connect purchase to MLB" procedure, as Samuez mentioned in his case …

https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-g...e-purchase

Also, it says that it's best to be logged out before starting, so I'd probably stick to their script as much as possible for both procedures.

Yep. When I reinstall the apps, they was nothing (aka, no show, no etc,) I look around and saw that same info about restored purchases.

I also took a look at the URL from the tlife app (i saved it), and when i open the url with the app, it said that it was 'already redeem'. This was before I restored purchase. After I restored purchase, i was able to stream the mlb.tv live show without 'log in' (i was able to see the login option, etc).

And than i follow your post, and connect it to an account. I was going to signup for it, but remember i had an extra account, and login with that (no subscription was on it), and afterward, I was able to login to the desktop, and check the information and the account has 2024 tmobile access subscription. Once I log off of the MLB.TV app, and tried to 'restored purchase', nothing happen and I couldn't see any live MLB.TV show.

So, yes. if you uninstall at any point, you could restore purchase, and it'll be relink to to your AppleID, and you can connect it to a MLB.TV account (not connect, more like push it toward them) or signup for a new mlb.tv account. my AppleID and the mlb.tv doesn't share the same email.

OK, things are slowly starting to come together with the ins and outs of how the subscription works in the Apple ecosystem. I noticed that you said you could stream games from the MLB app without logging into any MLB account when it was linked to your Apple ID. So at that point, the App was pulling the subscription info from the Apple-linked account to let you watch even without a separate MLB account.

Yep, now that you transferred the license from your Apple account directly to your MLB account, the MLB app no longer sees the license to let you stream games. However, if you want to watch on your iPhone now, you can log back into your MLB account which now has the subscription. That should then recognize it and let you watch again since it's looking at the MLB account for the license info. (And you shouldn't need to worry about the license getting transferred back to Apple this time). I just tested with an MLB account which was never linked to an Apple ID and it let me stream on my iPhone app as long as I logged into the MLB account. It looks like that's also mentioned in their Apple-FAQ …

"At Bat or MLB.TV Subscriber Login
Subscribers who already own At Bat or MLB.TV can access subscription features by entering their MLB email and password in the MLB app. If they've already logged in to their MLB account using either the MLB app, Ballpark app or Safari on their iPhone (regardless of if the apps are currently installed), their credentials will automatically appear, and they can simply tap on "Continue with MLB" to login."

Been away a few days...

Wow...are these still being given away for $5-$10?

Figured by now, that I'd be seeing offers for $10-$20 for a code or an already set-up MLB-TV account.

Do the Codes still work??

And NO, I don't have any codes or accounts left.

As far as we know, the codes still work. There were several confirmed trades and redemptions well after the official expiration. However, codes were probably already mostly used up before then and now there likely aren't many left unclaimed. I'm sure someone will post if they run into a failure due to expiration though.
