About this item:
The complete set of all five series of the TV smash hit Battlestar Galactica. Following a devastating attack on their home worlds, the only surviving humans of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol cross the galaxy in a space convoy headed by the Battleship Galactica. In hot pursuit are the ruthless Cylons, powerful robots who turned on their human creators and brought about the near annihilation of mankind. The voyagers' last hope is to find the fabled 13th colony: Earth. But with their nemeses in hot pursuit and the revelation that the artificial machines now have the ability to take human form, it's going to be very far from an easy quest.

looks like i paid £29.25 back in august of 2014, so i looked up the exchange rate at that time, which was roughly 1.66, coming to roughly $48-something. shipping was much cheaper though ;p fun little trick for the sold by "amazon global store uk" listings, you can change the ".com" in the url to "co.uk" to compare the actual uk price

If you're wondering about differences from the US set, they appear identical except The Plan is missing from this one, but it doesn't impact the story and is generally awful.
Worst series ever. I wanted to love it, because I watched the ORIGINAL series in its entirety on TV back in the 80's, which I loved. In this series, every episode is a plot twist and so many things simply dont make sense at all.
While I will always love the original. I just watched the Pilot/Movie last week on a new 4K disc. I loved this take on the lore. I think it was deeper thinking where as that was not common in the 70's when the original aired.
I got this wonderful set (I also have the Game of Thrones set). I was able to get the additional movies and that little mini-chapter show and watch them in somewhat of an order. Loved it. Yes the ending is a bit weak, but still good.
