Yes. They are decent hiking shoes for the light hiker. Be sure to wear socks that cover your Achilles where the shoe touches it. If you wear no show socks, the back of the shoe will cause a blister on your Achilles. Wearing socks that cover that part of the shoe prevents this. I hope this is clear, it is to me. 😂. Basically, wear anklet height or taller socks with these.

Some people, such as myself, are adrenaline junkies and have ADHD so running on the street is terribly boring. The only running I can really tolerate is on hiking trails and I love bouncing off rocks and and off short drops and trees and stuff so these types of shoes with the aggressive traction come in handy so that I'm not slipping on pine needles as much or leaves and whatever else is on the trail.

This past december i ordered a pair of adidas Terrex Free Hiker GORE-TEX 2.0. I found they were sized way too small. Not sure if these gore-tex shoes are made a size too small as well?

I ran 50 miles on trails at an average pace of 8:30 per mile. Trails are for walking AND running. It's an entire sport of determined and impressive individuals. Your argument is incredible invalid. Also I've run in these shoes. They're not the best but they're also not the worst. Solid shoe for easy miles.
So risky. Why take the risk? It's like driving a car 120 mph

I never understood why they market these for running 🏃 on the trail type shoes. You shouldn't be running on trails at all because of the uneven, bumpy and rough terrain. That's a recipe for broken ankles or worse. I'm sure these shoes 👟 will do the job.
Such a dumb take.

The irony is that this is the type of person that breaks a hip at 60 because of this fundamentally wrong way of looking at the human body, aging and avoiding injuries... hopefully they are trolling and not serious.

Looks pretty grippy and legit.. but what's up with the weird line in the middle? Is there a purpose for it?

I bought it and then returned it because it is made of very hard materials. I am afraid it may rub your ankles.

Got mine. Anyone else find the heel uncomfortable? There is what feels like a lump on the inner sides of the heel. As if the arm support begins too far back or something.. Such a bummer. Will probably return.
