In reference to the routers... not all the time. If you have 6E cards in your computers, then can be better. If you have all 5 and 6 cards, then it may not be. The 6E routers tend to put everything into the 6ghz band, and then the 2.5/5ghz bands tend to suffer. You may easily see faster 5ghz speeds on a dual band than a tri band.

I've been running this for about 2 years. I'm not really a fan of the software and the app isn't the best either. With that in mind, I can still get a 5g signal at the far end of my house around 75 Megabits.

I upgraded to pfsense and this is in AP mode now. Before that it was dropping connections a lot and required manual restart once every couple days. Esp when the usb port was in use.

Sorry to hear that. I never lose connection but I really hate the app. It's nice to be able to disconnect my son's Xbox from work, but it has trouble reconnecting afterwards.

I actually just got this router today at my local Costco for 49.97. It was on closeout and there was only 2 left. Not sure it's every Costco
