Only 1 local store out of 7 showed having any in stock on Brickseek. Said there were 4 so I made the drive to check on it. There was a spot for them in one of the displays up front with the $50 clearance price showing but there were none on the display. A few displays over there were 4 in plain cardboard boxes (like the refurbished/blemished ones at Direct Tool Outlet) with the info on labels on the front. The clearance tag for those showed $70, so I kept looking and didn't see any. I asked one of the employees about it and showed him where the empty spot was. He scanned it and acknowleged that they showed 4 in stock. I told him about the ones showing $70 in the plain boxes and he scanned that and confirmed that those were the 4 in stock and showed $50 on his scanner. I purchased 2 (I'm gifting 1 to my nephew) and opened 1 up to see if all looked good before driving back. It's definitely not a refurbished tool as it doesn't have the stamp/engraving anywhere on it. Label shows 3 year warranty as well. For $50 I'm satisfied. I know it isn't the strongest tool out there but will be nice to have for hard to get to spots. Thanks for the post OP!

Side note... They had a really good clearance price on a Ryobi Hammer Drill kit. The PBLHM101K (*ETA* My bad on this 1. The clearance tag was labeled as PBLHM10 but was a kit with bag and battery/batteries and I was only able to find the 101K kit on the site). But it had a clearance tag for $72. I had to hold myself back on that one. I need a drill, but don't need a hammer drill. That extra weight is more than I'd want to support for light duty work. I'm not going to post a deal for it as its apparently a HUGE YMMV. But if you need 1 it may be worth checking your local store if you happen to be there for anything else. Brickseek link below....

*ETA* I'm pretty sure it's actually leftovers from this deal dropped another $8. Only difference between the 101k and this is that the 101k has 1 4ah battery, vs 2 2ah with this 1.

Torque rating isn't super important on these. They're not designed to break fasteners free, they're designed to speed threading it on or off after you manually broke it free. Very handy tool to have (I have the M12 version), but a lot of people make the mistake of thinking they're getting an impact gun in a ratchet form factor.

The magic for an electric ratchet is size/weight for accessibility. The M12's are great because of their smaller batteries, making the ratchet smaller/lighter (but still powerful) to get into tight spaces. Any ratchets that use standard size batteries are too big and bulky...tough squeeze it into tight spaces. I find I can only use it in ~30% of situations due to size.

The M12 longreach model is even more useful, but spendy.

The Hyper Tough is $39.88 at WM. I picked up the OP's one from HD though because I'm already in the Ryobi ecosystem.

I have the 1/4 torque porter cable wrench w the torque extensions and sockets. Do, I need this for doing mechanical work? Honesty,a wobble socket changed my whole world, after knuckle bashing.

Just want to ask because I don't want to miss a good deal or buy something, that I may not need but want. I am still all porter cable since 2014. All batteries are still working

Picked one up locally. There were 5 left in 80104. Brickseek was actually accurate!

It says "Special Buy" on the box (printed, not a sticker). There was also a LOT of dust on the box.

The more I thought about it, I had to go back and pick up this hammer drill kit (PBLHM101K2). It was at the Raleigh, NC HD on Capital Blvd and they still had a couple more left. Comes with 2 18V HP 2Ah batteries, drill and bag... all for $72 + tax. Pretty good deal considering the batteries would cost more than that themselves.

They supposedly have 2 of these ratchets left according to Brickseek, but I didn't look to see if they were in stock or not. If they are (and they should be as the inventory dropped from 4 to 2 after I purchased 2 the day I went for this deal), they're in a basic rectangular box with the info printed on the label.

*ETA* Looks like someone saw my post as now BS is saying Limited Stock.
