dont. i purchased this thing for about $10, and it is basically paper thin. when i pulled it out of the box i let out an audible snort laugh it was so absurdly cheap.
i needed something band enough so i actually attempted to use it... on my 30" masterbuilt brand smoker . it was so tight it was almost impossible for the 2 of us to get it over the thing.
its only 4 bucks, but honestly, save your money. get one made by the brand "classic accessories". they are the only ones that seem to hold up reasonably well.

Great deal, I just ordered a different one but I'll return it and get this instead.

2nd this. I had a masterbuilt cover for my smoker and it ripped really fast. Bought a classic accessories one and it has held up for a few years. on my gasser, my classic cover had a tear and they replaced it no questions asked. good advice 👍

3rd this. I have one that came with the Masterbuilt smoker and it rips if you look at it wrong, especially if you have the sun beating on it.
It is worth $4 I guess, but definitely not $35. Don't expect it to last more than a few years.

Agreed, if this is the same one I got at a local camping store a couple years ago, it's not worth $2. Paper thing and tears if you pull on it too hard.
Much like others mentioned, I have a 40" smoker with this identical Masterbuilt cover in 40" for it and it has ripped and fallen apart after less than a year while babying it outside in shade and out of the rain. Not worth it.
I have a SmokinTex electric smoker and have used Masterbuilt 30" covers for years.
For $4 shipped, I figure it's worth a try.
But when you consider my current cover (icover brand) is really at the end of its life and was purchased in Dec 2016 for $13, I'd have to have this one last at least 2 years to accomplish that same value.
That probably won't happen but we'll see.
I've definitely made worse purchases from SD…

My current one has some UV discoloration from leaving out for the occasional smoke over the fall and winter. Not very heavy duty but decent overall.
Edit: this was the original one I bought, didn't know they have 2 30" branded versions. For $4 still going to check it out.
