Whoah thats crazy Adata is getting into laptops... never thought id see that. Thats like if Mushkin or Kingston made computers. Best of luck to them, I imagine this is like maybe some OEM laptop that they're branding. Id love to see EVGA step into laptop space if they're moving away from like PC parts/components.

Did it ever actually hit the market, i remember it was in concept stage but idk if they ever committed to manufacturing it. It was also not very refined from what i remember. I think they should have taken the Razer approach, and can still very much do so. They could even get into the monitor market tbh

Theyve been around for a while now in the computer space, usually selling SSDs, flashdrives, and other nand & dram products. Relatively large & reputable brand that tends to make fairly reliable mid-end products. I've bought a lot of their products over the years, just didnt think they would need to get into this market

It is almost definitely a OEM rebrand. I have an older XPG Xenia 15 that was basically a MAG-15 with a shiny sticker on the lid, but at a lower price.

I have the xpg 14. It's has been a nice office/school laptop. It's lighter and more compact than my work issued Surface Laptop 5 13.5". Battery life on it has been pretty good considering it's an 11th gen.

I picked it up for around $300 on a slickdeal. If it were to pop up again at that price I'd absolutely buy another.

ADATA is a pretty good brand. I have used their RAM and SSD before. Never used their laptop though. I would not pay this much for it though if it has a plastic chassis. Feel like if I'm going to pay over a thousand dollars for a laptop it at least needs to have an aluminum body. Had too many negative experiences with plastic ones. Specs look great though.

I've got one which died in 6 months. Paid 150$(yes YOU have to pay for it) for delivery to the service center, they replaced it with the one with broken display. When I asked to replace again they said my warranty ended 2 weeks ago. I will never buy their laptops again.
