New wording for Metro unlock policy:

The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked.

Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.
But might have to fight for that...

That's not a bad way to make some money if one wants to spend the time and effort. It costs $3/each for a GV number, so $15 for 5 phone numbers + $325 for the five phones = $340. Get the i15 with the credit. Sell it to BuyBackBoss which is offering $593. A profit of $253 is nothing to sneeze at.

curious, hpham, when you buy multiple phones as with this one, do you use the same account? I was surprised this AM when the same account I used to buy the previous Samsung worked. But not sure if it will go thru if Iphone 12 becomes available again + I try to buy it with the same acct...(by that I mean email/phone number)

I've never bought multiple phones (in quick succession) using one account. I used 3 different accounts (mine, wife's, daughter's). But there were posts in this thread from people who did. Some (as an existing customer) even were able to get the discounted price using the $40 plan instead of the $65 plan.

I think those comments are wrong. The ones bought from Tracfone/StraightTalk/Total, etc are unlocked after 60 days.

Thank you. That's very useful information. I don't understand why would there be a 3% fee on PayPal. Usually when someone sends me a PayPal payment, I can directly retrieve it to my bank account. I don't have to pay anything.
