New wording for Metro unlock policy:

Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.
But might have to fight for that...

So both of your phones are sealed and activated? Or only one phone, which was sealed and activated, failed against the IMEI checker. I guess if it is an iPhone, then it is a different story.

In my case, Sim inserted and received the OTP, made a few calls, accessed the internet, and downloaded a new OS patch (Razr 2023, and I guess yours is an iPhone).

Where do you check Imei (regular metro site to see if they're compatible)?

If you're talking about an iPhone, Apple won't know it was acti activated through Metro unless you opened the phone and activated with your Apple ID.

If it's an Android phone, no IMEI check site can check its activation status.

I opened the Razr and ported from Visible. I left the iPhone 11 sealed and ported from Google Voice. Got the activated email confirmation, but 4 days later still "not activated" when checking on imeicheck site.

Just activated my number and looks like both google voice and metro sim are working , I can call / text from both of them, activated like an hour back.

Samsung A15 was $0 with new number before they made the porting process available online, I never saw it at that price after the changes, but if you did, you should have bought it then

You don't need to cancel anything. AutoPay is not enabled by default, but it can be canceled at your will. It is a prepaid service. If you don't pay, your service will be automatically suspended. Read the wiki; your questions have been answered hundreds of times already!
