Now they've done it...
New wording for Metro unlock policy:

https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/t...ock-policy

"Unlock eligibility requirements
We unlock mobile devices that meet the following eligibility criteria free of charge:

The device must be purchased from Metro by T-Mobile.
The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked.
Three hundred sixty-five (365) days must have passed since the device's activation date."

Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.
But might have to fight for that...
scroll down to Port your Google Voice number out to another carrier

https://support.google.com/voice/...5667?hl=en

Account is GV Number no dashes and need Setup Voicemail PIN is Port PIN if not setup that yet

to setup the voicemail pin have go to settings and enable Call to listen Check and manage your voicemails by calling your Google Voice number.

https://voice.google.com/u/0/settings#voicemail
Your account number is your google voice phone number. The pin is the one you set up in Google voice to check voice messages.

The A53/4 feel sluggish, so I can imagine the A15.
rohioI opened the Razr and ported from Visible. I left the iPhone 11 sealed and ported from Google Voice. Got the activated email confirmation, but 4 days later still "not activated" when checking on imeicheck site.

Quote from Refundroid :
I've owned them all. S23 has a ton of bloatware and Samsung's unnecessary customization, which I hate. On-screen fingerprint scanner isn't very reliable. A54 is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Razr is definitely better. Its side (physical) fingerprint scanner is reliable and works well. Nice to put it in your pocket folded. People also comment on it, not that this is important lol. Been using Razr since last Black Friday. I bought 2 more through this deal to gift them to my parents.
I have them all as well, and I am saying you guys are not wrong, but in my opinion.

A54 is not sluggish, slow, or cheap at all. In fact, it has the best battery life, the best screen (almost the same as the S23Fe), solid performance, never gets hot or warm while using a hotspot or charging at the same time, and an SD card (hard to find in new phones). I have installed stock Samsung firmware, so no junk from Metro, and it works very well on Visible.

S23FE has a wireless charger, a better processor, and a better build. But battery life stinks and gets hot while charging and using the hotspot at the same time. It obviously has better performance if you're gaming on a cell phone. Otherwise, I don't see a big performance difference if you're a regular consumer.

Moto has a different form factor, a good processor, and a nice screen. Moto software upgrades are questionable (not as many OS upgrades as Samsung). I feel reliability is questionable based on the many complaints on Reddit about screensaver bubbles, etc.

My S23FE. Doesn't get hot while charging and the battery lasts all day. It's a nice phone.

I simply opened a second account.. different email , credit card , etc. No problem using the same address.

QUOTE=Ryugami;169778874]How are people adding 2nd and 3rd phones for the $30 plan? I bought 1 iPhone 12 and then I tried to do it again for a 2nd one and I kept getting errors. I tried on incognito under my partner's info and that worked but total was like $173 with $65 plan plus taxes....

The way others are doing it, I could've saved $30? Do you have to wait to get your phone to make an account? When I hit login with my ported number and the pin I made up, it gives me error so I'm thinking I would have to have phone in hand to receive that initial text to activate the account?! So confused! Already did it but greedy me is interested in doing the deal again if I can do it for $30....lol[/QUOTE]

Tried wife's name but failed. Using CrimsonHill804's trick (on the first delivered device with wi-fi off), I just ordered the 3rd iPhone 12. Hopefully it won't get cancelled!

Strangely enough, I wasn't asked to answer questions to verify my identity before, but I was this time.

can you also pls share the steps to do that, when i go online I just see option to port into Google and port to another Gmail, I do not see how to port to another carrier from google
Log into your GV account-->Click on the gearwheel (Settings)-->Click Account. It'll show your GV number with the Unlock button (mine shows (re)LOCK because it was already unlocked). GV will ask you to confirm that you want to pay $3 to get your GV unlocked for porting out. See attachment.

When I try to order from my account --- I am logged in on my PC , not the smartphone --- Metro sends a SMS to my Metro smartphone. That should be enough, but it isn't.

Who knows what algorithms they use for what purposes? I had tried different ways before on my PC (except for changing the IP address) to no avail. Not sure why it worked this time.

So I bought a number off eBay and supposedly it's an AT&T number. I was able to use it to purchase a Razr. I activated it a few days ago and today I went to make a new Google Voice number planning to input the newly activated number as the linked phone number for verification. Google accepted the number and sent their usual text for verification to that number. I was unable to receive any of the text Google sent. I also tried to complete the verification by a phone call instead. That errored out and said I have to verify by text.

I verified the metro line is opened and activated because I'm able to make calls. The weird thing is when I try to call into that metro number, I get an automated message about the parked number being at number barn.

Anyone know what the deal is? I don't really care about being able to use the number as I just wanted the phone. But I do want to at least be able to open up another GV account using it while it's still working.

I see. If I don't and just leave it, it ultimately doesn't matter if I just want the phone right?

Hi Andy, I have a problem too! What was your trick for #3? Angel Not

Edit: found your trick and it worked! Woohoo
How did you do it? I received and activated iP11 and tablet. I have been trying to moto-G or another iP11. I tried many the tricks.. same account, different account, different network, different browsers, etc. Response is same every time. On the last page they rejects the order. Message: contact us to complete the order. Your security is important to us.
My cc was charged and within few minutes charges were reversed.

I called customer care. They offered moro-G stylus for $65. I did not take it.

S23FE can become hot when it runs at full load such as 10 more minutes Antutu benchmark test...
It is a nice phone anyway. It would be back again in stock at some point.,

Yes in what in the Annals of Slickdeals will forever be known as the "Crimsonhill804 trick". I was able to order a third iPhone 12 on my account. Again the trick is to take the first phone you got for the Metro account, log in with WiFi off and go to add a line. Got another iPhone for $130 plus tax. Same name address and cc.

Again the trick is to take the first phone you got for the Metro account, log in with WiFi off and go to add a line. Got another iPhone for $130 plus tax. Same name address and cc.
I'm honored!!!!

Anyone looking at the A15 might consider total. It's free with a $50 plan which I assume can be cancelled after 1 month. The phone should unlock in 60 days instead of 6 months.
