I just ordered the phone and it's scheduled to arrive on 3/5/2024.
For the $35 activation fee cancellation within 3 days, when does the 3-day clock starts? Does it start when I placed the order or when I actually receive the phone and activate it?

Since this is an unlocked phone, that means I can just pop in a SIM card for another carrier and use it right? Do I still get charged for activation fee and service if it's never activated?

I know what Google Voice is and have a Google number but would want to choose a 2nd GV number. So if shipping to me I have 3 days to cancel AFTER receipt of the phone with no charges whatsoever except perhaps prorated charges for the first 3 days?
