Ok,so I ordered 2 with gv numbers I imput my info and the numbers then it said bestbuy is processing my order it didn't ask me to pay anything the balance was 0 then I got an email from att saying to verify my email that's it, I think there are some steps missing ?

It took me around 2 hour and being high end loop and still couldn't cancel it, guys it's not worth it at all.

Its not available near my store for pick up. So seems option is to order online like others, however can you help me with below :
1) is port in required for online order? Since i can't pass through mobile summary page in case of new number
2) if lets says i port in GV unlocking for $3 . It will take more than 3 days to get phone . Which will be beyond 3 days and may get charged with activation and prorated fees right ?
3) not sure if folks are canceling just after placing online order. If yes then it will cancel the order and does not ship phone ?
4) in one online transaction can two phones be ordered ?

I don't think so. See what happens when you verify the email. You should be able to create the accounts and cancel them

When I try to make an appointment at my store, it shows out of stock but still let me schedule the appointment. Does this mean BB will ship to the store by the appointment time or will I be surprised after going to store by them saying "Out of stock" and order cancelled

1. Yes
2. Yes it might. Then account gets created right before shipping though so you might still be in luck. Also when the bill comes you can click on "don't recognize this fee" under activation fee and it should take care of it immediately even after 3 days.
3. I'd wait at least after the phone is shipped.
4. Yes it can be but I'm not sure if you need to create two accounts or two lines in a single account.

You should be able to do it via chat when it's available. You can also wait until this wave gets over to get it cancelled. I think they are getting a lot of cancellation request today. You have 14 days to cancel the line. And as I mentioned above when you get the bill you can click on "don't recognize this fee" under activation fee to get rid of it immediately.

I've read through the whole thread. But what's still unclear to me is exactly when the line/account is activated.

I placed an order, ported GV number, selected store pickup. I physically can't pick up until Tuesday. But I have sense received emails for setting passcode, as well as "finishing user ID registration". I have not followed the links to setup anything yet. BB sent ready pickup email.
So, is my line/account already active? Or will it be active when I actually follow the email links to finish user ID registration?

This will obviously determine if I should go ahead and cancel tomorrow or wait till I pick up the phone on Tuesday.....
