Ordered Saturday. Shipped a couple hours ago. Cancelled via chat just now, took about 25min.

I never completed the port and didn't unlock my Google voice account.

I didn't mention that my account was new or the activation fees or anything, just that I wanted to cancel. Had to say no to a number of different things but ultimately the rep got it done with no issues.

Everything shows $0 due. Got email confirmation of cancellation.

Isn't $0 part of the ATT new line contract? Would BB sell it for $0 without ATT? No.

So I goofed and missed the part where it required me to unlock the number on GV.

The order went through and I got the phone, but because I never unlocked the GV account it did not complete the port.

I went to cancel and it's showing as "suspended" on the AT&T website.

When I called to cancel service they said they couldn't do it because it was suspended. I'm assuming this is from the incomplete port. Another person I spoke to said that it was different than the service being cancelled.
There's no charges on the AT&T website, it shows the number I attempted to port which is still with GV, under plan it says "AT&T Value Plus(SM) VL"

Do I still need to do anything even though it says no bill due. I checked statements as well and there are none.

Technically if the line never became active on ATT they shouldn't charge you for it but I'd confirm with them about the line specifically. ATT account can be open and might stay open for a while but there should not be a line on it.

I just did! I ordered two in one transaction and one was shipped out this morning. The other one just got cancelled - guess the stock was depleted (I made the order close to noon on Sunday).

Time to chat with AT&T to cancel the line.

I'm calling AT&T, they are asking a security passcode, I don't remember I was asked for that when I placed the order with bestbuy. How can I know that pin?

This is how mine showed. I never mentioned it and neither did the chat rep. It kinda felt like she thought I had been with them a long time. Never mentioned the incomplete port, that the account was only a couple days old, etc. Proceeded with cancellation like normal with no issues while logged into my account on the website.

Best Buy needs to cancel the order for you, then you'll be able to reorder it after unlocking the number from Google Voice. I had the same issue. Since the N30 listing is not visible, they'd have to make the order for you, just sweet talk them.

You set your own passcode. You'd receive an email telling you to set a passcode once your line is active.

I did receive an email to setup the account but that password is minimum 8 numbers with special characters, what they ask is a 4-digit pin I don't see where I could setup that.

I had an so called "appointment" at my local BB store for getting a new number, but they didn't reserve the phone and run out of stock when I got there on Saturday. So I ordered two online and ported in two numbers (one GV, one TracFone). The phones are showing in Fedex possession and will deliver on Tuesday. My GV and Tracfone service are still active, but I decided to not risk the activation fees and chatted online. Both lines disappeared from myATT account after chatting. The chatting is a bit painful as she keep trying to sell me something. But she never asked for for anything (passcode, etc.). Anyway, hope it helps your experience.
