Last time I ordered a Gretsch from them, I had to return it. It was missing paint chips on the body. Return was easy, but that was disappointing.

This one is $20 less than last time. Not sure if I want to take a chance again.

is this the cheapest this guitar has been? I think so. The Bigsby alone is like $100. If I needed a new guitar I would buy this but I have too many already.

How comfortable is this guitar vs the junior version? Anyone have experience with both?

Great deal if you like the color The Bigsby itself is worth $100.
Poor man's version of a 335. Had one of these and was a fantastic guitar/value. Only sold it because I picked up a Gibson ES335.

Thanks OP! I'm a multi-instrumentalist and this is the first E. Guitar I've ever purchased. Had great reviews and seemed too good to pass up for a first guitar. Cheers!

It's worth the shot if the return was easy. My G2655 from Adorama is flawless.

I have both. This guitar is "335" sized; a bit on the large side. The Junior is more "339" sized; markedly smaller. Both are full-sized guitars and the Junior is not a stripped-down version. The Junior would probably suit most players. The "335" might be a bit much to handle for younger/smaller players.

Not bad at all if you're curious on trying out the Bigsby setup. I thought about putting a Bigsby setup on my Yamaha Revstar 3 years ago but it's something like $119 alone for the kit, and I also didn't want to accidentally mess up my Yamaha because it entailed having to drill holes into the guitar. So I eventually abandoned that idea, and just got a Gretsch Electromatic for $450 with a Bigsby on it.

So you mean the junior is just smaller with the same electronics as this but better suit small players? (I am tiny)
