Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good rage against a cellphone company. But I'm confused by this one. Why are you feeling ditched that T-mo doesn't offer a test drive to current customers? Were you hoping to test out the T-mo network, even though you are already a customer?

What?! Why do you need a free test drive if you are already a T-Mobile customer? 🤦 I have plenty of complaints about T-Mobile, but this is just ridiculous! As for perks, have you never heard of T-Life or their Dining Rewards program?

can a tourist vising the US for a few weeks signup for this?
Wouldn't they need a US cellphone number? I know it's esim but assumed you'd need one to use the T-Mobile app? I do, but already have tmo for a decade so can't check.

and current TMO customer are left in a ditch... again.

Once you get enchanted and sign up for their service - forget about perks and discounts - same greedy BS as the others.
Whenever I am a long term customer to any of these carriers whenever I need to upgrade/change phones they always say I don't qualify.... Unless I change the whole account... T-Mobile was supposed to have an upgrade plan and I still did not qualify. Find it quite rude

Yes that button is not clickable. I was getting the same error on my s23, called them and they fixed it for me
What phone number did you call and how did they fix it?

faced same situation. Do not create t mobile id that way. First login and then link your new phone number to an existing account.
After a few more attempts, I finally figured it out. It was a little frustrating but thanks for your help. Since it appears this is a prepaid plan, do you think we will be eligible for the T-Mobile Tuesday offers and more importantly, the free MLB TV in a few weeks?

My phone already has a physical sim. After adding an eSim, do I need to select which sim is used for data?

So I have started my trial on this T-Mobile network pass. I intend to switch from Verizon to another carrier as my monthly bill is getting higher. By switching off my Verizon cellular line, I am now using the secondary cellular line. So far I noticed the signal bar dropped from full 4 lines (Verizon) to only 2 lines (T-mobile). Is that a good sign?

Update: I just did an internet speed test on each carrier without home WiFi connection. Verizon : 337/42 download/upload. T-mobile: 67/8. The testing area is San Francisco Bay Area.

It should be the first banner that you see once you open the T-mobile app on your phone. It is called T-mobile Network pass.

After you sign up for the trial, T-mobile will show a new phone number on your phone. And if you keep your original carrier line open, now you will have two phone numbers active at the same time on your phone.
