Exactly, plus the Lockpicking Lawyer is in a controlled environment. More likely for someone to have an angle grinder than to be picking a lock.

I have this lock, it's not a secure lock. Can be picked super quick and the metal is pretty thin. It's cheap though

I have another disc lock from abus that is miles better than this, hard to pick and really nice hardened steel.

This lock is great for a shed or garage lock where a thief can just kick the door in. Invest in a better lock for storage units and valuables, like an abus

Are "ABUS" a schlage design type of keylock?

Abus has three key cylinder types if I'm not mistaken. Regular key, double cut and the angled edge? style the kryptonite locks also use.

I ended up getting the abus 20/80 for a outdoor storage locker, but because it's slightly bigger than the storage facility's general issued lock. I feel it stands out and would prefer the smaller 20/70, but without another lock nearby there's hardly a difference visually (beyond the size difference and colored keyway cover. Weight wise there an obvious difference. Abus is solid and heavy.

I believe the newer, angle cut key style is the most secure, but it can be a bit finicky.. if you don't put the key all the way in. it does feel like you can damage the cylinder by just turning a non fully inserted key.

This and the relatively high friction felt inserting the key compared to the old key style makes me think it's more vulnerable to weather/corrosion issues or tamper/picking damage possibly resulting in a stuck lock.

Looking for a simple, weather resistant and cheap bio-metric lock for my storage shed/garage. Right now I just use a regular padlock that I never actually lock; just enter the open shackle in the hasp that's installed on the outer door.

I just want a basic way of actually locking the door that I don't need a key for. Even a small combination padlock will do but I must admit I'm too indolent to enter pass-codes or carry keys every time I want to take out the trash or store cardboard boxes for weekly garbage pickup; what's a cheap lazy basterd to do? TMI I know...

I have several abus locks 20/70. They all use the angle key. Some can be tricky to turn and hang up a bit. But all work well outdoors to keep my expensive tree stands from being stolen. They're all up fall through spring usually. They're paired with 6-10k abus chains as well. Like other commenter, the 80 lock is bigger and might not fit your chain's link gap size and other standard size things, so measure width to compare to lock.

Only available at Walmart for $17. Now $23 at Amazon.

Good deal for a cheap lock.

I'll find something I don't care much about but needs 'security' to use this on. Someday....
