Product Name: | Arcade1Up Capcom Legacy Arcade Game Yoga Flame Edition With WIFI |
Product Description: | Arcade1Up introduces remote WiFi LIVE online play in a Capcom Legacy home arcade game machine! STREET FIGHTER II™ was the first one-on-one fighting game to feature a variety of characters with their own unique martial arts combinations propelling it to become an instant arcade phenomenon and one of the most influential arcade games of all time. Now over three decades later (and as iconic as ever) Arcade1Up’s Capcom Legacy Arcade Game Yoga Flame Edition features a red-themed cabinet aesthetic inspired by the mystical Dhalsim’s fiery attack…and this Arcade1Up game machine is THE way to bring that fierce fightin’ ‘90s style home! Easily assembled Arcade1Up game machines provide authentic (and yes way nostalgic) arcade experiences for your family game room fan cave or a welcome distraction in the office. They play great look great and are instant conversation pieces. Let’s start with the marquee game STREET FIGHTER II TURBO: HYPER FIGHTING. An unreal amped-up iteration of the title that absolutely revolutionized the fighting game genre! From Ryu to Ken to Chun-Li and all of your other favorite combatants perfect your combos and pile up those victories. Also included are STREET FIGHTER II™: CHAMPION EDITION and SUPER STREET FIGHTER™ II TURBO. All at your fingertips all just like how you remember them! KING OF DRAGONS™ STRIDER™ PROGEAR™ BATTLE CIRCUIT™ SUPER PUZZLE FIGHTER™ SATURDAY NIGHT SLAM MASTERS™ CAPCOM SPORTS CLUB™ FINAL FIGHT™ GIGA WING™ CAPTAIN COMMANDO™ ARMORED WARRIORS™ are also ALL included. Switch it up to any included game at will with the easy to navigate on-screen menus. Oh and in addition to the WiFi LIVE play see how your high scores measure up with online WiFi leaderboards! There are two versions of this machine, one with the lit marquee and riser and one without. If you look at the reviews for the product link, someone says no riser included.
Please don't tell me there is another version I have to have.
- From previous posts - additional games can be added or sideloaded for 1UP systems - is this correct?
- If yes to above - do you have to change OS or hack it in anyway?
- I believe 1UP also offers a fee service, for additional games - but I saw in one of the products they now offer free online scoring Comparisions - or something like that - can anyone clarify what is paid for or free for 1UP systems?
- If you can add additional games - how do you account for different input methods if you buy a system with only one joystick and buttons - ie. Two player modes (fighting) - multiple buttons for actions (fighting) or roller ball for input (I guess like golfing sims). I believe there are controller panels out there that can be purchased for all occasions.
- Would it be better just to build your own gaming system using I guess a RasbeeryPi board - emulation SW (all systems - Nintendo/Sony/MAME etc.). Use a good LCD and add input buttons as needed?
I'm kind of nostalgic regarding these standup arcade systems having grown up in the era of video arcades and dropping quarters.
