As good and comfortable as these shoes are for race and tempo days they don't do great as daily trainers because they wear out fast. you are lucky to get 200 miles out of this model, the 6 finally added some rubber on the sole to help with this problem and added a more comfortable foam.

Just buy the mach 6, at this price point is not a slick deal seeing as the 6 just released at $140. 6 gen addressed all the issues the 5th gen had which weren't many. They are also lighter

These were 67 from REI at the end of November and had nothing to do with bfriday or Christmas sales. They'll go lower. They wear so dang fast it's a shtshow
