Wish I waited, I guess grass is always greener, but Sammy OS is just garbage
New process of producing OLEDs without rare earth minerals.
"The new process, in simplest terms, involves replacing those rare minerals with not-so-rare -- and therefore more affordable --- minerals. Diving into the science, the process involves grinding manganese bromide with benzyltriphenylphosphonium bromide. That solution is then dissolved into single MnBz crystals, which are used to create a light-emitting device (the LED part of OLED)."
So likely we see prices continue downward!

Must look away from SD..
In for 1. Thanks OP
I had a chance to compare the two(calibrated) and LG produced a more accurate PQ to me.
Another example on how one factor(brightness) doesn't necessarily mean better overall PQ imo.
It might be newer technology but it didn't process content as well as LG imo.
DV support is just a bonus especially since it's becoming more common with content.
The great thing is both are great displays, could not go wrong with either one.

They even support both dynamic HDR formats(DV & HDR10+).
Unfortunately they don't offer sales in the US, would love to see one though!
Had a 9th gen calibrated Kuro for 10+ years and only switched(after much contemplation & debate) because of a great deal from a friend!
I get people make a big deal about brightness but it's only one of many factors regarding PQ.
In a light controlled room that Kuro easily held its own to Oled imo!
