Look, I appreciate you engaging but I've been designing battery charges for a long time.
you are misunderstanding the old school ways of setting charge modes and profiles for lead acid batteries. the charge mode and float mode are legacy methods associated with iron core transformers and liner voltage regulators when you needed to physically switch between current levels and voltage levels.
modern chargers current charge up to a taper voltage level then switch to constance voltage mode which is typically 13.5-13.8v. anyway I am sure your understanding is lost in semantic nuances. it's not your fault but I want to help people in the thread understand how it works enough to have the right perceptions.
I won't get into the chemistry but when you put an SLA cell above about 14 ish volts you start to dissociate hydrogen in the electrolyte. That is gas. The charger in a UPS is designed for SLA will cut off charging when the battery reaches 12.46v and shut off the UPS when the battery drops close to 11.59v. That means the LiFePO will never be full charged or discharged. So in that sense it's safe to use in a UPS.
However because it will keep the battery to SLA specs, you'll only be using approximately 23% of the battery's capacity. So that 10ah LiFePO will behave more like a 2.25ah SLA battery in the UPS.

You are probably talking about $500 UPS. I had about 5-6 different models below 1500VA in my hands and they change with 13.8V constant voltage. Non use SLA special process with 14.4 and float voltage.
How long is "after a while"? There are not many papers about lifepo4 longevity if you keep them under charge voltage for a long time.

At that point I called this experiment, these particular batteries would not work for my use case (<60W draw in a 750VA / 400W UPS )
I've got their 48v 50 Ah battery for my lawn mower. Not a lot of time on it yet, but it sure does perform better than the lead acid batteries I'd been using.

have anyone used them for studio lights? that's 14.5V (40 to 300w depending on the light) i believe, and with minimal wire hack you can hook it up, but wany to know if anyone has used it for that purpose.

Can anyone tell me the physical dimensions of the 12v 30a battery? I looked on eBay could not find them. I have a jnc 660 jump box that needs a replacement battery. I was wondering would this fit inside my jump box. I have very little experience with these types of lithium batteries : would this if it fits be a good replacement in a jump box ?

The best deals are the 100ah and 150ah, about $80 for 50ah.
Anybody hookup the larger 100ah or 150ah to a smaller UPS by adding wirings?
I have used smaller lifepo4 6 ah that fit into existing UPS with original sealed lead acid but they don't last long enough for some power outages. Those portable power stations are alternative I can use but cost more like $150 for 20 to 30 ah or approximately 300watthour.
Will there be any charging, overheat issues connect such a large battery to smaller UPS?

I know several people that replaced there kids ride on toy batteries with 18v and 20v power tool lithium batteries , I don't see why this would not work also .the 12v 30a is called a rv battery in the description.
Can these be used for a jet ski. In Florida so don't need freeze protection.
Nope, they won't provide the cranking amps needed. Look at Antigravity Batteries for starter LFP batteries- they are very pricey.

They excel in any situation where surge current doesn't happen and just needs to provide power for a long period of time. Get a proper LFP charger to get the most out of it.

LFP falls towards the Li-Ion side of the spectrum, quite closely in fact. Lower maximum output for the battery size as compared to Li-Ion but almost no fire risk. They are different enough that you need a LFP charger to get the most out of it.
Many people replace their RV deep cycle LA batteries with LFP. It's more than just a simple swap though as you will need charge controllers and isolaters, depending on the setup. Lots of info if you google for it.

Tool batteries are generally Li-Ion, not LFP.

I recently acquired two 12V 150AH battery packs at a 20% discount through Slickdeals for my 24V solar system and am now contemplating an expansion. This time, I spent approximately $480 to purchase an additional two 150AH battery packs. With this upgrade, my system will comprise a 24V, 300AH battery configuration with a capacity of 7200W, perfectly poised to store the summer sunlight. Additionally, should I decide to upgrade to a 48V system in the future, these batteries will still be compatible and useful.
