you are misunderstanding the old school ways of setting charge modes and profiles for lead acid batteries. the charge mode and float mode are legacy methods associated with iron core transformers and liner voltage regulators when you needed to physically switch between current levels and voltage levels.
modern chargers current charge up to a taper voltage level then switch to constance voltage mode which is typically 13.5-13.8v. anyway I am sure your understanding is lost in semantic nuances. it's not your fault but I want to help people in the thread understand how it works enough to have the right perceptions.
I won't get into the chemistry but when you put an SLA cell above about 14 ish volts you start to dissociate hydrogen in the electrolyte. That is gas. You may have noticed flooded batts are vented and SLA batteries have pressure release valves built in for this reason to prevent bad things

Don't tell me to stop. I'm just correcting you erroneous statements I'm not trying to pick on you. I think you are just extrapolating wrong statements from some simple misunderstandings of the electronics and battery systems
Trust an EE PhD as hard as that might be.
have a great day. and happy to direct you to good articles if interested.
The charger in a UPS is designed for SLA will cut off charging when the battery reaches 12.46v and shut off the UPS when the battery drops close to 11.59v. That means the LiFePO will never be full charged or discharged. So in that sense it's safe to use in a UPS.
However because it will keep the battery to SLA specs, you'll only be using approximately 23% of the battery's capacity. So that 10ah LiFePO will behave more like a 2.25ah SLA battery in the UPS.

Amazon hasn't had it in stock for awhile. Not sure if Weize will ever carry it again since they seem more targeting car sized 100ah lifepo4 batteries.
I bought it on recommendation of this youtube video

Yes, it fits in my APC. I think the APC manufacture part is RBC2.
The terminals may also vary between f1 or f2. SLA batteries in this form factor also have both variants of terminals. One is slightly wider than the other.
Lead acid should not be discharged below 50% if you want to get a lot of cycles out of them. LiFePO4 can go down to 80% depth of discharge without issue.
Don't use it as a starter battery though. The high starter draw might cause the BMS in the LiFePO4 battery to disconnect the pack for safety, and then you're dead until you can apply a momentary charge to reset the BMS.
Depends on how long you want to run your "sump dump".

Nvm just saw above someone said that it shouldn't be used as starter battery
More to my point, can it run my trolling motor that has a max. draw of 52A ?
I believe most my tools run at ~1000v and would need to power them for up to 2 hours

ive read that you can use the regular lithium ion charging profile for the MPPT, but to get the best life out of the lifepo4 you need to customize it.
wont be using it to start anything... just running lights, water pump, the radio, and occasional inverter use. and maybe one day an LTE modem/router.
Kids ride-on toys typically use SLA style batteries, vs ebikes which use Lithium Ion batteries.
Where in that spectrum do these LiFePO4 batteries fall? Can you upgrade a kids ride-on car with one of these as long as you match voltage? Similar question for using these on a full fledged e-bike. I have dabbled with both building ebikes as well as modding my kids ride-on toys. But I cannot for the life of me figure out if these LiFePO4 style batteries are similar to either technology.
Alternatively, could these be used to replace the 12v battery in my RV?
But, they all die quickly. I haven't had a problem getting a replacement, but have realized that they can't handle the current that the ride ons require. I think the BMS blows and doesn't reset. I've moved to using 15aH SLA batteries if I'm just doing a direct replacement.
I've started using 30+ Ah if doing LiFePo4 batteries since they have the higher current output. You may need to mod the toy to make it fit, but they run forever and can supply needed current.

【3000+ Deep Cycles】ECO-WORTHY 150Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery contains 3000+ deep cycles, each lithium battery can run for more than 10 years, which is 3 times longer cycles than AGM batteries on the market. And our lithium-iron batteries can maintain 80% capacity after 3000 deep cycles.
【Safer Metal Shell Design】Safety valve and metal case design, better quality than the general plastic case. It has a more stable built-in 120A BMS to protect it from overcharge, over-discharge, charge over-current, discharge over-current, short-circuit, cell voltage self balance, high-temp discharge cut off.
【Lighter but More Power】ECO-WORTHY LiFePO4 Battery has compact size design, which makes it smaller in size and 1/3 the weight of the lead acid battery at the same capacity, much more convenient for you to remove and place it.
【Application】The 150Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery has 1920Wh Energy, and can be expanded to 30.7kwh by wired in 4S4P, Perfect for trolling motor, RV, campers, marine, travel trailer, solar power system, motor homes, UPS, Off-Grid etc.
【Charger Recommendation】This 12V 150Ah LiFePO4 battery takes 7.5 hours to charge with 12V 20A LiFePO4 battery charger, about 3.2 hours to charge with 600w solar panel, and 7.5 hours to charge with 20A DC generator.
This deal comes out to $1.72 per Ah or 172.00 per 100ah which is a fantastic deal for a very reputable brand name. I bought 2 myself. These have awesome metal housings unlike the plastic you get on nearly all other batteries.
SIDE NOTE: At eco worthys official website, these batteries are on sale for $410 with Regular price of $769.99. 410 for this battery size is actually a reasonable price comparable with many other good brand name batteries. 760 on the other hand is a stretch.

I originally ordered one for a trolling motor battery but cancelled the order once I realized these two functions, especially Bluetooth monitoring because I want to know how much energy I have left so I don't leave myself stranded. Different people have different uses.

>It does have high temp cutoff but oddly not low temp. OTOH, you can safely discharge but you must *not* charge below freezing temps. Would you really recharge your trolling battery outdoors in the winter? Remember the very low self discharge means you don't need to trickle charge it in the off season.
Good luck!
