This isn't sold in the warehouse. It's a blue page that is online only. Advertised at $250 off the $700 price ($450) but their price changed about a week ago to $650 so the $250 off takes it down to $400....pennies ignored

Keep the MSI if you need a more powerful device. CPU on the MSI is a different class and the HDMI port on the MSI support HDMI 2.1 vs. this Dell which is only 1.4

Short answer on RAM appears no, in the sense that this comes with 16GB RAM (2x8GB), which is max officially supported by this model.

Longer answer is that this includes dual ddr4 SODIMM slots, each supporting up to 16GB of RAM, and they do appear servicable (not soldered on).

Not according to Amazon more detailed. There is definitely no thunderbolt (a problem these new Dell have) and no Alt-DP. Its says data only. And to wit that means no USB-C charging.

Such a shame.
