I got the same error and figured out how to get around it. Don't use the links above. Login to Metro with your phone line and PIN. Then, go to Phones & devices >> Tablets & devices. I was then able to select the Samsung tablet and added a line and paid $20. Hope this helps you out.

It did not work for me. It said, I could not add a new line.

I got the moto 5g stylus deal and still have 12 days left on the plan - I dont see an option to buy this tablet - what am I doing wrong

Thank you.. Did you have to wait till device was delivered and line is activated? My phone is shipped last night. When I try logging in with phone number and 8 digit pin.. it shows error: something went wrong while serving your request

Yes, I did. I received my phone today. I had to call Metro/T-Mobile with assistance with getting it activated. But, yeah, after that, I was able to login to the website.

Still did not work for me. I didn't go through the Slickdeals link.

I am logged into my account and paid with my Citi Double Cash credit card.
They take all my info and then I get the error Please contact us to complete your order. Not sure what is the problem.

They send a SMS to the phone.
Without the phone you can't to this deal just yet.​

Go to the "Existing Customer" tab and log-in with your Metro credentials, it's pretty much straightforward from there. Took me a minute to complete the purchase.

Yes, but you're gonna have to wait 180 days to unlock the device if you wanna use it's LTE on a different carrier.

From everything I've read, no. The unlock is available 180 days after the initial activation of the line on that device regardless of continuing to use the service with that specific phone. Just based on SD and Reddit comments. My first time with Metro so I'll know in 5-ish months for sure, but the anecdotal info seems clear.
