I got the same error and figured out how to get around it. Don't use the links above. Login to Metro with your phone line and PIN. Then, go to Phones & devices >> Tablets & devices. I was then able to select the Samsung tablet and added a line and paid $20. Hope this helps you out.

Not to be picky, but both tables are very close to e-waste nowadays. The processor in them are only capable of YouTube and light web browsing only, don't expect any smooth experience.
I agree. I would rather spend $20 more to get another Moto Stylus lol šŸ˜‚

Yes, but tablets are a different form factor (better for reading, watching videos, etc.). For $20, you can't find anything better (Walmart-branded tablets are total junk from day one).

So I cracked the screen of my phone and in order to swap the SIM to a new phone, they are asking $25 for a "SIM swap" fee. This sounds like a total racket and there's no way to self-service SIM swap since my old phone's screen is unreadable so I can't receive their SMS authentication. Anyone in similar situations in the past was able to get around this fee?

Not a bad review of the Samsung A7 lite, and for $20, you judge

I just got a Tab A7 Lite for streaming videos and games for like $70 refurbished. I have to agree here - the size is considerably better than even a 6.9" phone, especially with the aspect ratio, so for $20 this is great.

I got the Moto G Stylus 5g $40/1 month deal a couple of weeks ago. If I take advantage of this $20 deal, will it require me to extend my Moto G Stylus $40 plan another month?
It used to be when you added another line to the account they would restart original line payment as well at activation so you would end up paying the amount due on both lines (this loosing any days left over on existing line) so best option was to wait till next billing cycle was about to begin but it's been ages since I had them so not sure if it's still the same.

Fee probably not especially considering quality of their support and manually doing such thing would require dealing with some kind of confirmations as well. If your phone support external screen via cable maybe connect it to screen or TV if touch still works you might be able to pull it off.

I got a Stylus 5G, then after I received it and activated it, I added an iPhone 11 for $40, it's been shipped and waiting to get it delivered, so I'm wondering if that's why I get the "sorry, you are not eligible to add a new line" message for this tablet

Still did not work for me. I didn't go through the Slickdeals link.

I am logged into my account and paid with my Citi Double Cash credit card.
They take all my info and then I get the error Please contact us to complete your order. Not sure what is the problem.

How many lines are active in your plan? I got same message. We are 4 in our plan, which means the maximum amount allowed

FYI, I was a Metro by T-mobile (FKA Metro PCS) customer for about 10 years. I was paying $25/month for unlimited data and an additional $10 to get my Samsung Watch LTE service.

Last month, I purchased a Samsung S24+ phone. Tried to get it on the Metro network. Could not get it to work. Tried to switch back to my old phone. Still could not get it to work. Had to go to a Metro store the next day - after 2 hours at the store - it was still not working. They had to reset my account - still could not get it to work.

After 48 hours of frustration, I had to switch to AT&T, which started working immediately.

Bottom Line.
Super Cheap. Technical support is non-existent. Stay away.
Only unlocked phones can be used, just like other networks

Just ordered this myself and I did the moto 5g stylus 10 days ago. No issues for $20. Will also stop paying after the first month.
