Link is just for reference. They had these marked with a regular white tag (not a clearance tag) for $8.58 at my local HD. Rang up $8.58 as expected as well.

They were not with the regular extension cords but in the lighting section. Pic of display for reference.

I would not be at all surprised if they were in a sealed brown box on a shelf somewhere 10+ feet above the floor. Searching for things like this in HD or Lowe's reminds me of the closing scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark and 99.999% of the time I walk out empty-handed and frustrated because I feel like the item is in there somewhere . . . even though I know Brickseek is not reliable.

They list it as "medium duty" fwiw. It's certainly a lot thicker than the light duty orange cords that come in 25' lengths. At <$9 with a lighted end, I'm happy to replace a bunch of my light duty orange cords.

If anyone wants shorter black extension cords, Costco has a nice deal in the warehouse. Two 25-foot black cords with 3-outlet grounded receptacles, outdoor rated, UL listed, 13A, for only $8 a pair. Good for electronics, lighting, computers, etc. Unbeatable deal I think.

I was able to find some in my local SoCal store. It was on top of one of the racks 2 isles down from the extension cords. Thx I got 4, they had 40+ left.
